Have had two dealings with Special Touch, both good. My wife's computer started to run very slowly. Robert diagnosed a failing hard drive, was able to save what was on it and replace with a new hard drive that runs like silk.Next was replacing the monitor. Robert provided a refurbished Dell monitor with speakers, sharp picture, money well spent in both cases.For customers who barely know where the gas pedal is on a computer, Robert will steer you straight and find something that meets your needs and budget.

These folks did a nice job getting my sons gaming pc backup and running with solid communication throughout.

I'm not going to say the price, but I will say that it was very affordable! They explained everything that they had to do and fix on the computer and gave me a good estimate of time they'd have it done by. They got it done quickly and were very kind. Thanks again!

Robert at Special Touch Computer Repair fixed all of my MacBook Pro's issues in just 24 hours! I went to their shop and they walked me through their procedures for evaluating my Mac. They'd complete a free estimate and call to let me know what the issues were and to give me options for extracting files, repair, etc. Robert also made sure to ask what my goals were with the service: whether I wanted just the files off the Mac, wanted to look into repairing the Mac or both. Two or three hours later they called me to let me know my hard drive was failing. They sold me a new hard drive, fixed my Mac super quickly and it only cost me $229 (inexpensive compared to buying a new Mac). I was beyond pleased with this their work and can't give them a great enough review.

My trusty iMac has been rendered down and out a couple of times due to heavy use. Each time, Special Touch ( no, they don't offer massage :-) ) has troubleshooted the issues, installed the parts, and gone above and beyond to blow out the dust and upgrade software, too. They're solid professionals offering great tips and friendly service.

I wanted to upgrade my video card. I brought in all the specs of my current machine: CPU, RAM, Video card, operating system, etc. hoping they could tell me whether or not it was possible and what the cost would be. They insisted I needed to bring in my computer. I'm not sure what possible diagnostic they insisted on needing to run before they could answer this relatively simple question. Their insistence made me wonder if they were stealing information from the computers they were allegedly servicing. I took the info to another computer repair place and had no difficulty getting the information I asked for.

My computer took an unexpected crash on me and I couldn't figure it out. Called up Special Touch and they had me in the same day. Not only that, they diagnosed it and repaired it in no time. I was picking it up in less than 24 hrs. I must admit, I was worried about the price I was going to pay since it was done so fast, but my fears quickly went away when it came time to pay. (I won't say how much but it was VERY reasonable). They even hooked it up and showed me it working before boxing it back up. This will be my only computer repair store from now on. Thanks again!

I broke the case on my laptop. Special Touch said I needed a new mother board and they installed one for $300 but the screw holes did not line up which I found out when I took it to another computer shop. Also I was told I needed new hinge. I paid $100 for a fix and my power cord still did not line up. The management is not user friendly.

Super knowledgeable and friendly! This is the only computer repair shop I will go to!!
