Door gouge

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! If I could give this a ZERO StarsI would! My husband took in his pickup truck for a check engine light after paying $240 plus dollars for a $7-$14 Dollar Part (Temperature Sensor) to be put in which i am not a car person at all but that seems a little ridiculous and should of took the advice of the other reviews about taking advantage of people. In which I definitely regret now!! After paying he noticed a huge door gouge on the paint on the drivers door. He called and talked to Paul which was very dismissive and acted like he was the problem never once asking for the truck to be returned so they could take a look at. Only after posting a Review did they at all Care only because they had a bad review, because that affects their business of course. After he wasn't contacted the next day he went into the shop and talked to Paul again, Paul saying that he had to talk to the owner John about resolving the issue which is understandable. After waiting all day for a response he finally got a call from Paul grudgingly saying that they would want the car back to have someone come over and touch up the paint, of course not a body shop but a alignment and wheel shop. He told them that he didn't feel comfortable bring it back to the same people that damaged it and he asked for a actual body shop to do the work of course after explaining that to Paul he said no this is the only way and that's it! They will NOT take care of you! Only grab your money and anything beyond that is not there problem!

When I need my car serviced I tend to bring it either here or the dealer. I have a Mazda and although it is based off of Ford, most shops have no idea how to work on it. These guys at Sparks know what is up and do a great job! This is where they send cars that get traded in across the street at H&H as well. I have never felt like I got cheated on service or overbilled/upsold service that I didn't need. I feel that I will continue to come here as long as I have my current vehicle. The waiting area is the only thing that needs work as it is older and smaller, but who cares, right?

Dropped my 2014 Jeep Cherokee off 07/30/2024 due too my vehicle not starting. My vehicle sat at their location for two weeks before touched which my appointment was for 7/31. After calling for weeks and getting the run around, my father went up to the 84th L location where the truck was still sitting outside which they had told me it was going to be towed to another location (65th L) where they have been working out of due to storm. The next day they magically contacted me and said my ignition module and ABS module were bad. Not once after they did the diagnostics to determine those modules were bad did they bring up the brake booster, which would've showed when they hooked the vehicle to the computer to determine the modules were bad!. Had a prior diagnostic done from the Jeep dealership which the brake booster did not show up as needing to be replaced, only showed lost communication to a module. Took about two weeks to repair. Paid $2500, when I picked up my vehicle all these lights were on my dash which wasn't on there when I dropped my truck off. Brake light, Airbag, and mile odometer was flashing. They advised when I picked up my vehicle that something was wrong with my brake booster, which is connected to the ABS module they said they had to replace. I requested to see the old modules to ensure they were replaced and they were not provided. Prior to this they told me they were having a hard time programming the ABS module. I still reiterated that the lights on my dash were not there when I towed the vehicle to them. They advised for additional $1200 they can repair the brake booster that they damaged.

Last time I took my wife's car in for service I had them due an oil change and tire rotation. 3 days later she said her car was making a noise, she thought her tire was flat but that wasn't the case I got home put the floor jack under it lifted up the front end and the drivers front tire lugs weren't tightened down every lug was loose on that wheel. I took the car back to the shop, the service manager remembered me apologizing up and down. Offered me a free oil change for the inconvenience, "inconvenience?" That could of caused a catastrophic accident. People could have died ! They can keep the oil change, so fast forward 3 months I go into a tire shop to get new tires and they cross threaded one of the lug nuts on the passenger front wheel. Never again will I send another dollar to this business. The mechanic obviously needs to slow down and have some pride in his work. I wouldn't have an individual like this representing my business with this kind of work ethics.

Wont be back. Large grease spot on my white interior. Got home and my oil was only at the add mark (quart short). Didnt talk to one friendly person. NOW in all fairness, this is the same place which SAVED my engine, no one else could find the problem and there were many. I will always be thankful, 409s are unique, difficult, and expensive!!! I happily paid and she is still running GREAT! They earned my loyalty and praise till now. My Father often said " businesses dont fail. management fails" Ive seen it time and time again. My suggestion is to forget the coupons, flyers, and come ones. Work on your people skills, and attention to details.

I have been taking my cars here for repair since 2003. I've always had good service until the last few times. The first of these times, my water pump went out and they replaced it. All was fine...at first. They forgot to put a screw back on for the power steering and that was a nightmare. We had a friend take mercy on us and fix that for us, saving us the time and expense of going back to Sparks. The second of these times, one of my cylinders went out, which was indicated by a flashing check engine light, and I had to end up getting the engine replaced. First of all, they didn't move my odometer back, so my 90000 mile engine still shows as over 200k, but three days after I got the car home, the kids and I were out at Lake Cunningham when the check engine light started flashing again! There was not one drop of oil in the car. Luckily I had 2 quarts of oil in the hatch, so I added that in. I know there wasn't a leak, because 2 months later and the car hasn't needed any oil. I think when you pay someone the really high prices I'm paying to get my car fixed, that they could do it correctly. I paid $3500 for the engine repair, including 'topping off the fluids' which obviously didn't all happen. It's just unthorough workmanship and I have to wonder if it's done on purpose. I used to recommend this place to my friends, one whose spent 1000's there, but I can't in good conscience anymore.
