This office has failed my family on multiple occasions. The service is horrible, and the office staff is unfriendly. If you have a family, do not go to this practice. If you do, do not expect timely or reasonable service. If I could do less than 1 Star, I would. We have already moved our kids service, and will be moving ours as well.

This office has gone down hill with all of CHI health. The billing office is in the Philippines, they have very little knowledge of insurance and account information. Office fee are always different, but always over $300, even when asked to come back for a recheck.

Dr. Eric Johnson is the best in Lincoln! My entire family sees him and we just can't say enough great things! At most other offices, you are a number where they herd you in and out as quickly as possible. Not SWFH! Dr. Johnson is thorough and we know we're getting the best possible care from him. He has time for all of our questions and has personally called in to check on us a time or two over the years. The office staff is also wonderful, great nurses too! Do yourself a favor and bring your family to SWFH if you want the best care in Lincoln, NE!

My family and I had our medical needs met by the Physicians at Southwest Family Health since my youngest son was born which has been over 24 years. I had never had any concerns or issues with anyone within this practice which would consist of the Receptionists, Nurses, Lab Tech's or especially our Physicians or the PA's that meet our medical needs for years. This all seemed to change in the Spring of 2019. Our family watched as one Physician after another existed this practice. Trying to schedule an appointment became tedious as there was only one new Dr. on board. We were told to visit Urgent Care when our daughter needed a very simplistic medical appointment. After of a few months of uneasiness I decided to meet with individuals at Southwest Family Health out of concern and possibly an explanation. I was told that the Provider's within this practice was having conflicts with Chi-Health and it was apparent these conflicts were now affecting the care of the patients within this medical practice. To my dismay, I felt it was imperative that we also needed to find a new Medical Provider and Facility to meet the medical needs of our ever growing family. I believe if there would have been better communication between this Medical Business, the Providers within this Practice and their patients most of this situation could have been avoided. I wish the best for Southwest Family Health, as this facility has been a part of our lives for over 2 decades. It appears effective and transparent communication and conflict resolution between the owners (Chi-Health) and the Provider's should have taken place or possibly just having a third party involved in order to resolve internal conflicts which affected business decision making, the many qualified and respected Physicians, Nurses, Lab Techs, Office Personal and us, their patients! and us their patients!

Was not pleased at all with our experience with Dr. Holt. Nurse and doctor gave both their opinions about my personal life where it was not needed. Opinionated about whether I was ready for a child or not; as well as "disapproving" of my type of contraception used. Inquiring whether my partner and I of years were on the same page as one another. Asked how long we had been together. Completely unnecessary and extremely rude. With multiple doctors leaving the practice, clearly for a reason. Wouldn't recommend. 0/5.

The switch they have undergone is horrible. You call and call and no one answers. I left messages and no one calls back. I was told I needed apt to get my refill even though I knew I was good until April but because of changes they made me come in. I get there and they said I didn't need exam to get refill and so we didn't do one. Now because they didn't do exam I am going to have to pay $200 out of my pocket because insurance won't cover it because the office won't call it preventive even though they made me come in when I didn't need to!!! I even had to take time off work to go in! They basically wasted my time, my works times, and my hard earned money. I'm out $200 for an apt I didn't need!!!!!!

We have gone to this practice for over 10 years, since we moved to Lincoln. We had amazing front desk service, and care. Starting this summer is when it all went downhill. They got a new front desk woman and she is rude, and a know it all. Explaining that I clearly was in the wrong when I have been scheduling my family appointments for 12 years with no issues until #1 she arrived and #2 they are going through a 'computer conversion'. I also have been fighting the fraudulent charges from 2 different occasions. The first is when a med check is going to cost me nearly $200, when all of our past have been $40-$60. According to billing it was a 30-40 minute med check....#1 the doctor should keep to the time frame of a med check and if not I shouldn't have to pay more because of his lack of time management. #2 they are billing me and my insurance for a non-appointment. I was in the room when my two daughters were having their appointment I literally said, " I have a question about my meds, should I ask you now or call into the nurse?" for that they are charging me for an appointment in which my insurance paid them and now want more from me. Lastly, as someone else mentioned you will wait an extremely long time even with an appointment. It is very sad to see what was an amazing practice come to this. I spent time today researching new family doctors for my family.

I went to a couple other doctors' offices in town and was not impressed with the quality of the doctor-patient interaction, which made Dr. Eric Johnson at Southwest Family Health a breath of fresh air. He was so polite and kind, utterly professional in his practice while maintaining a casual and approachable attitude. It was much easier to describe symptoms and ask questions about a (somewhat embarrassing) medical issue. No condescension, just answers and options. I've been back for routine physicals and other minor ailments, and every time I've gotten the same great care. The place is clean and welcoming and the staff are friendly and helpful. A great, great place.
