Souq

The women running this shop are so kind. Nice conversations, really great stuff there, all very unique! Crystals, soap, incense, candles, hand made figurines, clothes, jewelry, bags, etc

Unique little shop in the passage way in the Old Market. This place has been here for as long as I've been coming to Omaha and I swear it hasn't changed. It mostly sells women's clothing that one might call a bit more "hippy", but you can also find a nice selection of incense and random gifts. For example I found a cool looking Dalek made out of random pieces of metal. Keep in mind though the Old Market is a tourist stop so the items here cost more than what you'd find else where. I do think the employees are bit stand offish but to be fair they probably see a lot of weirdos everyday. If you're in the area I recommend you check this place out as well as the rest of the passage way stores!

We walked into the store with probably $500 worth of goods from the Crystal passage, next-door, and moksha downstairs... Both amazing stores, awesome, helpful owners... asked the owner here if there was a bathroom in the building and was told no. There actually is a bathroom down the hall that the neighboring business gave me keys for. While I was in the bathroom, they basically accused my friend of trying to steal a hat. We set down everything we were planning to buy and left. Decent store but terrible owners who should hire some friendly employees and stay home with their miserable attitudes.

I had an experience with a women that was inattentive, off-hand and extremely rude. I needed to find a gift for my wife and she did not seem to care. I was shopping for a gift for my wife and while I love the souq. I thought it was completely insensitive to believe that i could not buy my wife something for our anniversary. This was suppose to be something special for my wife because she loves this place but unfortunately we will not be shopping here anymore or anytime soon. We have decided to get our decor, accessories, and clothing elsewhere. This women had glasses and what seemed to be curly blonde hair.

I absolutely adore this boutique, and Omaha's downtown area all around. I bought earrings first time I visited, we only had a short time. Before leaving town, I had to go there again. I kept finding the coolest things ever, and could hardly make myself leave the store to catch my plane. Amazing place, I will be returning!

I love browsing the Souq! There are sometimes some really cool finds here.I have bought many things here and have always been complimented extensively on them.Some of my favorites: A lovely burgundy skirt and top that hugged all my curves, and honey, I've got curves! Some miniature photos of 1920's flapper style pinup girls, totally nude. Love those the best. Amazing vintage knock-off earrings that I wore so much they fell apart.The Souq is always on my list of places to stop in the Old Market.

Cool spot that houses gifts, jewelry and clothing. It's a one of kind spot but you can find some gems. Items are pricey but no matter if you browse or purchase you'll be happy you walked through the doors.

While catering to women from a clothing perspective, it always has many unique items for the husbands of the world to browse through. This place offers up a unique variety of clothing as well as odds and ends. From incense, to fair trade hand made goods from various exotic countries around the globe, there is an eclectic mix of items whether you are shopping for yourself or looking for a gift. This place just screams 'the Old Market' to me. Whether window shopping or looking for something unique, this is a great little part of the Market.

Fantastic lil eclectic shop w kind staff/owner. Beautiful jewelry & crystals. High recommend for gits
