Well, any place that serves smoked meats and plays Teddy Pendergrass deserves five-stars in my book. But in all seriousness, just the smoke taste on my turkey sandwich was food for the soul. I only needed a small lunch, so I didn't try their ribs, but judging by the quality of their smoked meats, I'm sure they're phenomenal!For being so small, this place has some serious character, and is a welcome addition to Lincoln's (much-too-small) bbq scene. If I can find time to come back, I can't wait to try their ribs and two side combo!

I don't care how much it cost, it was excellent and that will bring me back. The ribs were succulent, meaty and full of smoke flavor, the result of thoughtful recipe and technique. The beans were excellent, but I could not eat many because of their sweetness. Cole slaw was typical Southern sweet cole slaw. Their counter girl was helpful and knowledgeable. Decor is tasteful and typical. If you like BBQ, you will like this place, and you will return.

I've wanted to try this place ever since they opened but haven't been able to make it over during business hours. Finally got to try a few things and so far very impressed, we had ribs, baked beans, Mac and cheese all very tasty, ribs were juicy and seasoned well, nice chunks of meat in the sweet and tangy baked beans, creamy Mac and cheese. I hear the catfish is really good so will be heading back to try that and a few more menu items..

I'd like to say that had been some of the best flavored catfish in Lincoln. Baked beans are nice sweet. Collard greens are on point. Great atmosphere also to boot. I recommend you check them out.

as a chef with over ten years experience, i can say this place is amazing! the prices may seem a bit high at first but the taste and portions are well worth it! this a true local business that is worth supporting

amazing little spot in havelock! some unique items that really hit the spot. all the flavors work so well together. homemade BBQ sauce is amazing as well. highly recommend to anyone wanting to try something new

Homemade sides and smoked meats!!! The new restaurant in Havelock is a must try! Staff is friendly! Place is clean. Get in early, the daily smoked meats and fresh sides can sell out quick. I'll be back forsure! Can't beat those prices!!!

Pulled pork with hot link and coleslaw sandwich was amazing. The people are lovely, and the ambiance is casual and fun. The service was excellent. They were patient when explaining things and were willing to work with dietary restrictions.

Hands down, with out hesitation, best bbq and soul food I've tried in Nebraska. Every single piece of food was tastefully seasoned . Not too much and just the right amount ! I-had fried cat fish, cornbread, collard greens and Mac n cheese which were all so delicious and honestly perfect. My gf has the special Cajun soul chicken sandwich with sweet dill corn and that was also phenomenal. The vibes in the restaurant were also immaculate, great music and very clean and friendly ! This restaurants checks off every single thing for a perfect dining experience. I recommend to EVERYONE
