Sonlit Retreats

We had the most recharging stay at Sonlit! This property is a Retreat Center but you can book a stay when in one of the rooms in the main building or there are 2 tiny cabin options for more seclusion. Each room has their own bathroom and most have showers. There is also an option to get a day pass if you would not like to stay the night. The property is 25 acres with walking trails throughout and butts up against the Platte River. There is a 5 acre lake with a small beach and 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards for use by guests. It was pretty cold in October during our visit but I really enjoyed taking a few laps around the lake in a kayak! There are lots of indoor shared spaces as well to cozy up with a book or have some reflection time.Overall our time here was very refreshing and much needed. We tell all of our friends about it and will be back in the Spring!
