Smoking Gun Jerky

This is some of the best jerky I've ever had! Super tasty and flavorful. They offer a wide range of fun flavors. I've seen these guys at the Farmers Market in Omaha many times, but finally pulled the trigger and bought some from their online shop. I really got to give them a shoutout for great customer service. They are QUICK! Like next day delivery! I ordered a few bags as a Father's Day gift yesterday and they arrived this morning! So great! So far they flavors I've tried are Applewood, Mild Hickory, Peppered. Applewood is my favorite so far, but I'm looking forward to trying the flavors I picked for my dad - Teriyaki and Black Pepper & Garlic. If you need a last minute gift for a dad in your life, this place will not disappoint!

The gentleman that sells the smoking gun Jerky at the farmers market in Omaha is a kind guy. =) Most of the jerky products are gluten free and relatively healthy. He'll let you sample the different flavors that range from mild and plain to burn your mouth off hot for most normal people. (If you're not normal like my husband he says they're not spicy)Price wise for a 3oz bag you'll pay $7 and I believe he has a combo price for it. He also sells beef sticks but the casing is made with gluten and I cannot eat those anymore. He sells those $2 each or 3 for $5. My only complaint is they're really salty. The packet says 105mg sodium per 28g (1 ounce) but they taste WAY saltier than that. Not bad for an occasional treat.

I decided to stop by Smoking Gun Jerkey on my way to a baseball game. In my opinion the store is clean and set up well. They have samples and a number of varieties hanging on the wall that you can buy. They also have a number of other products including rubs, sauces, flavored pretzels and smokers. I purchased two beef jerky products. I wish they had different size bags but only have one size and for $7.00. I thought they were pricey. They even sold a medium sizes bag of flavored pretzels for $10.00 which was just too high even though they were tasty. Their products were good but just too expensive for what you get. I would have rated them higher if the prices were a little more reasonable.

Just got some of their beef sticks when they come to the Omaha Farmers Market. I did not go there to intention to buy jerky, but I noticed that the line was long and everyone was talking about how good it was. I like jerky so decided that it must be good if all these people wanted it too. It was a bit of a wait some of the people who were in line wanted to sample every single jerky the guy had,, some bought,,, some didn't .. Find it annoying that people ask to sample ALL of it and buy nothing when the line was long,, but oh well..Got some beef sticks, they were 3 for $5 pricey but not horrible. I opted for 3 original and 3 jalapeno /pepper jack cheese. They were both good, but I did prefer the jalapeno one more. It was not too spicy but did have a little kick to it. I would buy some again if giving the chance

Excellent customer service not to mention the jerky is so GOOD. I was in there yesterday and the guy was a huge help and very patient. Its a bit costy for the amount you get but I dont mind paying it because of the service you get everytime you go there.

This is by far some of the best Jerky I've had. It's a very friendly family owned store. You can come in and try from the many flavors. There could be 30 or more. I highly recommend it!

Not only is this some of the best jerky around, their customer service is awesome! We visit their booth every time we're in Lincoln for the Haymarket Farmers Market, and look forward to visiting their store sometime. Our favorites are Wicked Mary and Tennessee Whisky.

Best beef jersey anywhere. We buy this stuff in bulk whenever we are in town. Wicked awesome is just that. Miss the wagyu option but Piedmontese is an acceptable substitute, just a bit drier than the former ground jerky.
