Smokin' Oak Wood-Fired Pizza and Taproom

Looking for a warm place to escape the cold of Omaha? Smokin' Oaks is great wood fire pizza with lots of beer and drink options to celebrate or watch a game. It's Fast Casual so you order at the counter. They also have some promos and deals that make the value excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Stopped in on a Friday night for a quick bite to eat and some drinks. It was recommended as I'm a beer "snob" by some friends. You get a wristband and pay by the ounce for your drinks, which is great when there are tons of options. Unfortunately, I was a bit underwhelmed with the beer selection, it was not at all interesting or new. They had the staples and some decent options, but nothing I hadn't tried before. Not one stout or porter (it's December for crying out loud). There were several cocktail options which my wife and her friends liked. We ordered 2 pizzas. The "Classic" was just ok, and the "Pokey Dokey" which was excellent. The restaurant itself is decorated really nicely. Fireplaces, outdoor fire pits, string lights, and what looked to be comfortable outdoor seating. We sat inside (it was 10 degrees out) and unfortunately got a wobbly table :( The service was very good, the people working the register were full of smiles and the manager even stopped by to say hello and make sure we were good. I would definitely recommend this place for a night out with friends if you are looking for a quieter atmosphere than the bar scene, but still get some decent drinks and ambiance.

Best firewood bricks pizza I have ever had!! The options are unlimited I normally just stick to my pepperoni and pineapple combo. I also tried the smoked s'mores 10/10. The employees are very kind and don't mind answering any questions you may have pertaining to your order. Our s'mores were sent out too early making it cold by the time I was ready to eat it. I did let the employee know and a new hot one was made for us with no problem. Location is great for hanging out with friends There are only two fire pits but the seating is enough for big groups. Keep in mind that the weekends are busy. There is plenty of parking along the back of the building. Can't forget to mention they do have cocktails which in my opinion are not very strong.

I want to shout out the s'more's skillet cookie they offer! I forgot the exact name but if you describe it just like that, they'll know what you're talking about! Not sure if it's year-round but my friends bought it during the summer-very delicious! The service is amazing, they bring out the food to you fairly quick even on a busy summer day, and the ambiance outside was spectacular. Even though my friends and I went on a windy day, the sun was shining bright and well!

Pizza crust was absolutely perfect. Would have loved a little more flavor in the cheese bread and to have marinara as a dipping sauce instead of ranch. Very nice clean restaurant and staff. Great prices for what you're actually getting. $10.95 for a 10 inch pizza!

Pizza was a 4 out of 5. The Italian Stallion was good but added extra sun dried tomatoes but didn't seem like any were added. We also ordered Stuffed Cheese Bread. It was ok, (2 out of 5 at best) but was not offered marinara but came with ranch. Asked for marinara and it was more like cold chopped up tomatoes. We also asked for Alfredo sauce for them and was given ranch (also cold obviously) with shredded cheese and peppers. Didn't get any Alfredo what so ever. The old fashioned keg was out along with about 3 others. Numerous works running or more like standing around with about two people actually busting their rears to work. We have been here a few times before with zero issues. Tonight, 3 stars is being generous. Music was decent and not overly loud.

This place NEVER disappoints. I really love how this is outside turner park, allowing for a pretty view if choosing to eat outside. I really love the all day happy hour on Sunday combined with the free parking on Sundays. This makes for a nice little lunch date as a college student. With that, the food always hits the spot. I'd have to say, my favorite is the bbq chicken pizza. I'd have to say, they have a nice variety of pizza already but the addition of a custom pizza makes this place even better. I highly recommend for those with family visiting, needing a lunch date, or anyone hoping for some good tasting pizza!!

It's a cute restaurant with lots of seating and a great outdoor patio. The tap wall is good and has a nice selection of beer/wine/cocktails for those in the mood. There's not much for service as you order at the counter and get your own drinks. I had the margherita pizza which was just fair. It was dry and had no fresh basil like their photo shows. Their crushed tomato sauce doesn't have much flavor. Overall pretty disappointing. I might come back at some point and try a different pizza but there's an amazing pizza joint just down the road from here so I doubt it.

Great food! The Greek pizza is my favorite. I stopped in today to get lunch/kill time while getting my phone fixed and Carlos was great! He gave great customer service and really helped to make my day better. Give that man a raise!
