I committed to 10 voice lessons. (The least you can commit to) I work hourly and don't have that much money to spare but I care about music and singing. This was a complete waste of a lot of money. They were bad at communicating. They cancelled multiple lessons. Sometimes they cancelled in advance other times they cancel on the day of my lesson. On top of working around their own schedules, they have been unwilling to be flexible with mine. This has been a frustrating, sad, and disappointing experience.

Love Sing Omaha! I'd been looking for a choir to join for a while. I couldn't have asked for a better group than the Sing Omaha Women's Choir. Great musicianship, fun group...so glad to be a part of it!

Fantastic organization specializing in singing. Choirs for children, teens and adults with degreed teachers and curriculums, as well as the opportunity to perform locally multiple times per year. Sing Omaha also holds private lessons for singers. Definitely worth checking out!

A studio that completely specializes in voice, all faculty hold a music bachelor's degree, and uses new facilities. Staff holds many connections around the city across multiple school districts, and is committed to teaching basic fundamentals to build up the voice in the healthiest way possible. Sing Omaha trains your student using their true, individual voice. Teachers will not try to make young voices mimic something from the radio, which preserves longevity of the voice and creates a smooth transition for changing voices (boys AND girls). Plus, no matter what age your student is (5-100!) there is a large-group performing ensemble (lead by an experienced, degree-holding conductor) available for them as well! So they can learn how to sing AND immediately apply the skills in a choir (while making life-long friends). Multi-day show choir camps are also available throughout the summer, which helps if you have a busy school year.

Julie is a great teacher and meet you at the level that you need to begin in learning vocal and piano. Her lessons are on point and she focuses on the place you need to start. As an adult learner over 40, I felt like I progressed very well in the short time that I had in taking lessons.

As a music educator in the Omaha area, I was pleased to find Sing Omaha. It has provided numerous opportunities for my students including private voice lessons and additional choir participation. I have also been able to take bass guitar lessons through them. The faculty is professional, accommodating, and talented. I'm thankful for the opportunity to participate and support an arts education organization like Sing Omaha.
