I live in CA and my daughter and husband live in Nebraska. Due to my son-in-law's deployment before Christmas, I decided to send them a centerpiece for their holiday meal and chose this florist. Mistake.I ordered my arrangement, being very specific, on Friday. When I didn't hear from my daughter I called called her late Saturday. She said she received the arrangement and said it was 'nice'. So, being who I am, I said "So HOW NICE was it?" I paid $65.00 + $10.00 shipping so I wanted to see it and asked her to send me a picture.* She said, "Well it was nothing special but it was ok." She sent the photo I'm posting. I was less than happy as I saw very little greenery and a lot of "stuff" shoved into it with some odd colored bow.I was ill on Monday so I didn't call the florist back until Tuesday. "Barb" told me she would relay the information to the person who created the piece. He never called. Later the same week I called and spoke with the gentleman who created the centerpiece. 1) He told me he was sorry for not getting back to me but had been busier than usual. 2) He said that when my order was purchased they had not received their holiday greenery, which was never mentioned to me, so they went with what they had. 3) He also said "If you were so unhappy with the arrangement why did it take you 5 days to call about it?" Understanding where he was coming from, I told him my circumstances and the fact they were closed on Sunday. "Well it says you can call me anytime on the site." Ok, now I was starting to get an attitude... He asked me what to do to fix it. "Redo it I said." He said he couldn't do that. Anyway, to make a long story short, I told him forget about it; this is more trouble than it's worth. "Oh no, he wanted to make it right and what should he do without redoing the piece?" I told him, "You know what, you figure it out and do what YOU think is fair." I received a $19.00+ change credit on my credit card. This florist would have received 1 star except they did send me a credit. Too late. My son-in-law deployed and their dinner was over. I am going to try and post a photo what I wanted and what I received.*Most people never follow up with a florist and what they deliver, especially when one can't view it from a distance - I DO. You'd be surprised what some florists send out and the recipient is too embarrassed to mention it. In fact, at funerals, I always send my arrangements in white so I can pick it out amongst the other arrangements.

I ordered flowers for my sister who has been in ICU for 4 weeks. I ordered an upgraded bouquet and added that there were NO substitutions. The delivered an arrangement and the medium vase was considerably bigger then the flowers in the arrangement. When I phoned the company the owner claimed that he called and was allowed a substitution. The owner was absolutely rude, said he could goto the hospital and pick up the arrangement if I wasn't happy. So no artistic ability in arranging flowers and even less customer service. Obviously the down economy has cause them to not be able to afford flowers. This arrangement looked like a 5 dollar bouquet that you may buy in a grocery store that was thrown in a vase. You will wasting your money if you use this florist.
