First time at Shucks (after wanting to go here for over a decade) - finally had to come in for their shrimp fest! I think the deal was $5 for a dozen shrimp which was enough to get us in the door and boy was it worth it. I split 3 orders with my sister - the Canadian grilled shrimp was cold and peppery, the scampi was warm and buttery, and the crispy shrimp was just what you want it to be - they had a couple more flavors too but these three were a great variety! The location is a cute kitschy boat/sea theme which I adore! Super quick service and a great place to get seafood in NE.

Had to try shucks after someone said this was the freshest sea food place in Omaha to go! Definitely a great experience!!! The waitress and bartenders were so kind and everything came out very fast! It was clean and tidy, dishes were amazing and atmosphere was perfect for a ladies lunch with some well priced drinks!

I have wanted to come here for years and now regret not coming. The staff seems enthusiastic about seafood. It's a dive atmosphere so though it's a bit pricey (due to being seafood) it's not a fancy place. In fact it's a little small. But the oysters are a lot of fun to eat. The cod sandwich was pretty good, I do wish the fries it was served with were a bit more exciting though. I went back a few days later and had the fried oysters. Also a lot of fun, covered with vinegar.

I really do not like seafood but shucks is my only exception. I absolutely loved the tilapia special I had. The Alfredo saucy over the tilapia elevated the savory Cajun seasoning it had. The beans were also delicious and added flavor to the bed of soft rice that was the base of my dish. My husband always orders a side of gumbo to have before his all time fave- a shrimp po boy. 10/10 on the boy and hush puppies. We love this casual spot and visit them at least once a month!

Shucks is a delightful bar/restaurant with consistently delicious food and fast customer service. We have enjoyed the happy hour menu and the dinner menu - both fairly priced and DELICIOUS. It's a small place so you may have to wait for a seat during dinner hours!

I like Shucks - good food in a comfortable atmosphere. Friendly and efficient service.We started with the Shucks puppies, which are really not like hush puppies at all, but are shrimp, grits, and cheese. They were fine; basically I'm going to be happy with anything that's made into a ball and deep-fried. Right? I got the blackened cod with red beans and rice. It was fine but i probably won't get it again. It came with a LOT of red beans and rice. In my opinion, if they cut the size of the red beans and rice serving in half and replaced it with slaw, salad, literally anything...that the amount of red beans and rice would still be more than what the average diner would need.We appreciate that Shucks has a variety of hot sauces on the table, and malt vinegar (it is a huge peeve of mine when places that serve fish and chips don't have malt vinegar).Happy hour specials are great, enjoyed the margarita.Music was on but the volume was low enough that we could have a conversation over never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down.I didn't get the clam chowder this time - but I've had it before and honestly, I swear it was the best clam chowder I ever had. Way, way better than some I've eaten at legendary San Francisco places. I didn't get it this time; maybe I was worried it would let me down. But it would never do that, right? I'll make sure to get it next time.

Loved coming here for happy hour! I really loved their calamari and their Rockefeller Oysters were really good! Very fresh and great with lemon juice squeezed on top. I had a really great server too!

Loved the food here. It was a perfect seafood spot for me and my husband. I am a seafood person, where he is not so much. He doesn't mind fish and chips, but that is the extent of his seafood. Where I want oyster, crabs, shrimp, claims.... everything. We made it just in time for happy hour and got oysters on special. They were delicious. The staff were friendly and supper quick. Shucks is a great place if you're looking for a quailty spot to eat.

Food is typically good. Ambiance is good but it's not going to make you "ooh and awww."The service has declined... prices have increased. This is the story everywhere. I can find a better value at other places right now.
