Clean and pleasant. The bed was comfortable. The tv worked well. Fun candy shop in the office.

Cute place and well priced...it's only 18 miles from my assignment and I don't have to sleep in my car for at least the next three days. Not like I'm homeless... I'm a travel nurse and sometimes these tiny areas don't have much to offer except lots of bugs and filthy rooms. So I started sleeping in my car and showering at truckstops which isn't very comfortable, but neither is sleeping with bugs...this will be a nice break...it's clean the owner is friendly and right off the interstate...what more could you ask for

What a fun motel! It is exactly what I needed while traveling on I-80: a cheap and warm bed! And there is a Tesla Supercharger across the street.

It's pretty decent. The beds are pretty hard so that is the main reason I gave it only 3 stars. It's pretty clean (they need to check their corners though). Buy some decent pillows and put a COMFORTABLE chair in the room for someone to sit in. If your just in need of a quick nights sleep.... Go for it. For those who have to stay longer, comfort is not going to be in the equation

I had a gap between when my lease ran out and when my deceased husband's insurance death benefits arrived. Was staying here based on friend of father-in-law recommendation. Recently reminded basic room with only bed, broken lamp, tv and stand, microwave, fridge and stand. No landlines or telephone to reach front desk or manager. They put my physically handicapped senior citizen person on a second floor with no elevator. Caught pnuemonia carrying my bags up in snowstorm because night clerk couldn't be bothered to help, or be persuaded to put me downstairs for the night till manager came on duty in the morning. She said she would have put me downstairs no problem. So night clerk was just being an discriminating jerk for not doing so in first place. Room wasn't clean, had large dust bunnies behind tv stand and under fridge that looked like hadnt been dusted in months. Bathroom door was not properly painted on edges, raw wood left exposed to breed mildew and mold. Wall mounted ac was only source of heat which was seriously inadequate for below zero temperatures. Manager did provide space heater. But couldnt run that and microwave simultaneously or would trip breakers that only staff could get to. No coffee maker, manager said she ordered me one but never delivered it, had to buy my own from Amazon. WiFi went out regularly and cable went out sporadically because of inadequate do.estic service for large business facility. Asked 4 times for table and chair, and luggage stand so could eat meals not in bed and get suitcase off floor, they failed to bring me any. Owner cheap out at fault for wifi, cable and heat issues, rest is due to lazy and inflexible staff that dies not know meaning of exemplary service. Then to put icing on crapcake, instead of offering me comps for these problems, they changed pricing policy to no longer accepting monthlys when I complained about what should have been basic services to be provided that I paid for one full month in advance. Obviously an illegal bait-and-switch if ever I saw one.

Yikes, 67 for 2. Keep going if you can! Room smelled like stale smoke and pee. The office carpet was filthy. Oh well. Just pass it by if you can. If you are heading east there are several other places to stay!!

Just drive on by! Expensive too. Terrible camping conditions....rutted, muddy sites, no amenities whatsoever. No place for the little ones to play.

It was a very cold cold day and after driving on ice covered roads for 8 hrs, I just had to stop. I had been fighting sleep, so Shelby Country Inn and RV Park looked to fill the bill. The cost for one person and a dog came to $72. and some odd cents. upon entering the room it smelled like dog kennel. The room was very rough and unkept. The attendant informed me that it was difficult to unlock the door and she may need to do this, which of couse she had to do. There were large spots on the floor resembling areas where dogs had relieved themselves. photos will speak for themselves. $30.00 WAS PLENTY TO CHARGE FOR THIS ROOM! CHECKED FOR BEDBUGS AND THE SHEETS WERE CLEAN! QUESTIONABLE ABOUT THE BEDSPREAD! TOSSED THEM AND USE THE EXTRA BLANKET FROM THE OTHER BED. HEAT WAS EITHER ON OR OFF. If it wasn't for me being so tired I would have asked for my money back. For some reason I cannot upload the photos, and now the heat is off and it is 3 degrees outside now.

I was driving across the country, and this was the nicest place I stopped between the Atlantic Ocean and Shelby.Remodeled clean room, comfortable bed, TV, friendly helpful staff, reasonable rate.Only suggestion would be to add a chair to the room.

This motel was so nice. The beautiful swan on the bed when I opened the door was amazing. Bed was firm and comfortable. I am impressed with the decor. All the amenities were covered. We really enjoyed the comfortable atmosphere. Thank you for a great stay for our lil get away for my birthday/Valentine's day. They even have a laundry area for the guests.
