A wonderful park in the Omaha area, tucked a little out-of-the-way just off of S. 72nd St. Seymour Park is a very nice venue for running, biking, baseball, skeet shooting, tennis, etc..The clubhouse makes the perfect meeting point for group activities or just to hang out with a cup of hot cocoa on cold winter day. Plenty of free parking and well marked activity areas.Check out Seymour Park If you just want to go for a walk or you're more ambitious for some of the great activity infrastructure available for public use.

Seymour is in a great location and has TONS of areas to play. Recently discovered the disc golf course and it's great. Everyone is always friendly and the holes are fun to play. The playground + splash park is also a nice addition right near the walking trail. I still need to test out the skate park and the shooting range, but will get there!

Awesome park with so many options! We love to go here for the splash pad with the kids, but they also offer a skeet shotgun range, skatepark, baseball fields, 18 hole frisbee golf, and a soap box derby track.I definitely recommend coming prepared with frisbees, skateboards, and all the toys for this park. Lots of parking and space for running around.

I figured it's time for an update. So the overhaul of Seymour's disc golf course has finally turned the corner, making throwing a round here quite enjoyable once again. The biggest improvement is the installation of a new bridge. Now you don't have to risk spraining an ankle (or worse) crawling through a creek bed in order to get to the last three holes. While there is certainly more work to be done as far as replanting trees and general grooming of the course, it is now 100% playable.Yeah, it still gets busy on weekends, even during the winter months if weather permits. So your best bet is getting out there for a speedy round or two is on a weekday. You might even meet a cool guy named Justin who is really nice.No go get out there and throw!

Thursday evenings are definitely not a time to go to Seymour Smith. Apparently the disc golf leagues are in play during this time. It took me about 2 hours to play about 12 holes.

A nice little park in the center of the city. It's got so many things to do and it's so big that there is something for everyone. I love the disc golf area and the wide open space to play with my daughter and my puppy! I love the playground as well. Its so clean and well kept. The whole area is very well maintained.

Getting in an early round before Bloody Marys tonight! This used to be my litmus test. A place all other Disc golf would be judged by. The course was difficult at times and forgiving most other times. Now it is a shithole. Thank you City of Ralston or Omaha whichever claims it now. The removal of the the tree line along the creek has done nothing in terms of playability. It is right now a wretched state. I still play it as it is the only 18 hole disc course I am comfortable in and I always meet new people, but at least let locals know what is going on. The closure of the bridge has done nothing but make it more difficult to cross the creek. I have been frequenting this park since it was barely used and you could roll up and just throw. Now, waiting for the group of 6 or 7 younger kids and dogs (which I love) is a pain in the ass. Common courtesy is to let a smaller group that is faster play through and also pair of into groups of only 3 or 4.The park used to have tables placed strategically throughout the course and the removal of the one on 10th and 12th holes is unnecessary. I realize I sound like and old man saying 'you damn kids, get off my lawn!', but sadly there are better courses within a few hours drive. Some are mere minutes from where I am at

Great park with lots to do. I always see kids at the water park during the summer and people Frisbee golfing all year long. They recently updated the softball fields I play on and only seem to continue to make the entire place better every year.

I used to enjoy going frolfing (disc golf) here until they tore up the entire course! I am not sure what they are doing to it, or if they are going to even do anything with it, but it looks like a hot mess and has for a while. The surrounding areas are much nicer, though. I think it's great that they have a variety of activities in one place. It's great that they added the skatepark and kids play area!
