This place is great. The staff is very friendly and jokes with our children every time we go in. Even offered my son a job. And was serious. They are very prompt and very clean establishment. Food is very good as well.

The food used to be better five or six years ago. It has gotten kind of bland and kind of dry, but it is still good enough that if you are already in Savannah and want Mexican, you might as well eat here instead of driving into Saint Joe.

Best Mexican in NW Missouri. Place is clean, waiters are very nice. Prices are fair. It's our go-to whenever we crave Mexican......and we drive 35 min to get there. WORTH IT!

REALLY GOOD. I like this style Mexican (similar to El Maguey). Fast, affordable, good amount. I tried an off-menu Entree called "something" Suizo (can't remember the first word). It was DELICIOUS. I am a plain eater and it was rice, cheese and chicken. SO good. Kids 10 and under are free with adult entree on Wednesdays. I'm going every week!

It's food. Portions are big! Big and bland. Service is there! I mean they do wait on you. But you feel rushed in; rushed to order; quickly served your warm, gaggingly sticky sweet margarita; rushed to receive your mediocre, large plates completely, sloppily filled with nondescript piles of flavorless meat in some form of tortilla, usually accompanied by grey beans and dry rice. Rushed to try to shove the pile down your throat and then rushed out the door, all while enjoying a decor that's on par with a strip mall senior center.

The worst Mexican food I've eaten. I have tried them several times and I won't be back. I had a chicken chimichanga which had a huge chicken bone in it! Thank God I didn't bite into it, but it would have been hard to miss the big thing. It looked like half a chicken leg! Besides the bone, it tasted bland like a frozen dinner. My wife had a chile relleno that came with a red sauce on it. The red sauce was marinara! I didn't know this was an Italian Mexican restaurant. The wait staff suddenly could no longer speak English when questioned about it. You're better off going to Taco Bell.

We always have a great meal and service at Senor Barrigas...My husband asked for shrimp cocktail this last time and they made it for him even though it is not on their regular menu...delicious!! We will continue to support such a great restaurant in Savannah!

Friendly service and big portions. Ordered the steak fajitas for two and there were plenty of peppers and onions. We had a lot of leftovers. The authentic Mexican food flavor was missing.

Visited for the first time. I know this isn't Mexican food country, but . . . if you say it's authentic Mexican it should be authentic Mexican. My husband and I each had a combo plate to try different things. The sauce on his enchilada tasted like spaghetti sauce so he scraped it off and put salsa on top. The salsa, by the way was very good with just the right amount of spice, but the chips were much thicker than I prefer. The food was brought out super fast, so since I had a chili relleno I know it was premade and probably put in the microwave. The relleno did have alot of cheese though so that was the good thing about it. Bean tostada was fine, hard to mess that up. Finally the chicken taco - it was somewhat shredded chicken (more like chicken pieces) with absolutely no seasoning whatsoever, topped with some white cheese and lettuce, blah. I should also note my husband said the hamburger in his enchilada also had no seasoning. The service was good, waiters friendly and attentive. The menus look like they are probably the same ones they've used since they opened, they are worn out and peeling apart, definitely would make a nicer impression if they were replaced.I am sure there are some things on the menu that would be tasty, we just didn't find them that day. Salsa is the best thing they have going I think.
