We stopped for a quick bite late in the evening and everything was delicious, they use chicken breast meat for soup and tacos. Soup was a little on the bland side nonetheless we still enjoyed it best by adding lemon and a little salt :) ... Fresh ingredients noted and everything was hot /perfect temperature ! . Waiter was friendly and professional. This restaurant seemed to be a local favorite as it was busy with to go orders and dinning in. We came late expecting at best a short, minimally questionable menu. We were greeted and seated immediately with a large menu and chips and salsa. Vibe was cute, menu is better described as 'mexican inspired' than 'Mexican', but we found options. Service was very swift and polite.The Mexican salad was fine. The quesadilla ranchera was probably the best quesadilla I've ever eaten. Stuffed to the brim with mushrooms, and perfectly measured cheese. You could then assemble sour cream, guacamole, and lettuce to your desired proportions. It was truly truly incredible. Utterly shockingly good.

However we stumbles on this small town and restaurant and you can judge any mexican restaurant by their salsa and chips and this was authentic!!
