We built a new home a few years ago and worked with Sellhorst for security, whole house audio, and an entertainment system. They listened to our needs, gave us options, and did great work. Now several years later there have been the inevitable minor maintenance issues. The Sellhorst team has delivered immediate assistance on our maintenance requests. We are very pleased and impressed.

I found this company to be very arrogant! The measure of a business is not how they treat complaint-free customers or customers that "Love Them", but how they treat customers who may be a little less trusting, a little more inquisitive, need a little more hand holding, or who may be a little more difficult than the others. This company seems to operate on the premise *******believe what we say and ask no questions. If you do ask questions, that means you are a bad customer.******* The problem with this twisted ideology is a customer asking questions and sometimes doubting is a common occurrence in all facets of business transactions. Sellhorst should understand that REPEAT customers or long-term customers have already established trust. NEW customers have NO basis to gauge their trustworthiness and therefore may be doubtful, inquisitive, and less trusting like me. When is the last time you, or anyone you know, walked into a dealership and trusted EVERYTHING the salesman said because after all, they were the HOMETOWN dealership and they would NEVER be deceitful? How ludicrous is the notion but that is how this business came across when I called to express a few concerns after the install. Luckily, all was resolved but the experience left a bad taste in my mouth.Price = CheapEquipment = ExcellentSmartphone Technology = ExcellentCustomer Service = Meh I've experienced better. I will report back and possibly upgrade the stars after having their service for another 2-3 months.I met the owner and saw his security detail from the window :-) . Would I recommend this company. Yes. However, if you are someone who doesn't blindly trust, I recommend you explore your options before making a decision.

The receiver that we got has been nothing but garbage. The guy was supposed to come out - for the past two years - and put a custom cover over the volume knob cover, but keeps "forgetting." Not impressed at all. Will never recommend this company.

I built a home this year and Mike at Sellhorst was the best experience in my home buying experience. From the security, sound, to customer service Sellhorst was the most enjoyable experience of the whole thing. These guys are great check them out; ask for Mike he is the man!
