Scornovacca's Urbandale

Anyone that doesn't like this pizza needs to stick to the number 3 meal down at McDonald's. If you're used to processed crap, if you have low standards or low intellect, maybe this isn't for you. But, it's finally back in Urbandale after maybe 35 or so years.Scornos is cream of the crop, real ingredients, fresh, and delicious. We are lucky to have a new location in Urbandale. It's over - best pizza in Urbandale right here.Highly recommend this pizza

I'm normally a little more wordy than this, but it is what it is... The Urbandale Scornovacca's location opened up not too long ago. Not my favorite to be honest. I've never ordered Scornovacca's before so I wanted to check it out... I got a small pepperoni and mushroom pizza. I ordered take out... I arrived at the time I was told my order would be ready. I'm not sure if this is the norm, but I found it dried out and overcooked.I did like the sauce... I'll give it another go at some point.

Food was great. Restaurant was sparse and cold. Tables were left un used but to the servers defense she was the only person waiting on the entire place. People with to-go orders went without being acknowledged for 15-20 minutes. Our food was super slow to be served... our appetizer took a long time to come out and it was cold so it sat for a really long time in the back. Our pizzas were over cooked and they had to be remade. They didn't serve them but came out to tell us they had to remake. I think they might have a problem with not having enough staff. I only hope they get this figured out because the pizza is good.

Excellent pizza. Great atmosphere and remarkable service. Highly recommend Salads are delicious. Great place for the family or to watch a game.

I ordered a Large Combo and some onion rings. The rings were fine but the pizza was a dude. The crust tasted stale and like it had been frozen for a long time. The pizza also tasted dry. I paid $26 for a Large and it was the size of most pizza places Medium. Overpriced and not worth it.

we had a large group and the place we intended to go did not open until 4 on a Sunday. google led us to Scorno's and it was perfect. Our server was so sweet and did a great job. despite the large party our food came out quickly. It was a family friendly environment which we greatly appreciate. And the menu had the perfect amount of variety without being overwhelming. We will definitely be back.

Family friendly. Food and service both on point. Urbandale location is just as we remember the south location to be.
