I stopped in today for questions about some radio upgrades and had great help from salesperson that clarified some questions. We recently got a Beetle here and all was excellent from entire staff to make it all work out during a very short amount of time. Just right here and we will return.

From normal maintenance work like oil changes and tire rotations to tire work-up like nails, slow leaks, etc., Schworer does not disappoint. Their service is prompt and demeanor is cordial. I've been a VW Golf GTI owner now since 2012, and I have to say, I've not had one hiccup with either my vehicle or their service. Now, I will say, I do baby my vehicle as it's my first vehicle that I've personally owned since becoming a "big boy," as it were, i.e. got a big-boy job as a nurse. In this light, I do bring in my own oil (I like to throw in 0W-40 SAE weight oil all year round; otherwise if they do it they run I believe 5W-40 - a thicker viscosity which I would be okay with, but it does get cold here in Nebraska so prefer the thiner 0W-40 for this reason for cold-COLD-startups) and filter for them when servicing my oil-change / tire rotation. They are happy to only charge $20 buck for labor! This past weekend I not only had fast service on an early Saturday morning (they are open every other Saturday), but when Lori the service manager there told me when it was time to pay, "Merry Christmas." She circled the "Total Due" line at the bottom and it read, $0.00 Dollars. She didn't charge me any labor at all for her service team's work. Now this doesn't happen every time. But on occasion, she'll throw in one of these nice "Merry Christmas" greetings a few times a year! Schwroer's facility is always clean. They usually have cookies and or coffee in the mornings if You go then, and their sales team is also super informative while You wait. Very helpful all around!

I worked with Mr. Blauw & Mr. Cawthra over the course of 2-weeks and they were very responsive, transparent with price negotiation, and at no point used any of the tactics that make car buying frustrating. (E.g. Waiting excessive time in the lobby, changing closing paperwork, excessive pushes for optional services, etc...) It is worth nothing that I did research and understood what I wanted to buy prior to coordinating with any dealerships. Overall, my experience with this company was very positive and I would work with them again in the future.

service department is very disappointing. wife bought a used certified car from them. a hour after having it the brakes were squeaking very loud. took it back and they looked at it and brought it back to me. As they brought it back out you could still hear it squeaking. They now refuse to help or even try and find a solution to correct this. For first time car buyers and younger individuals I recommended not doing business here as Lincoln has many options where you can find business that actually care

IGNORED.... I took my car in due to my adaptative cruse control (ACC) and Front End Assist lights coming on, neither were working. I had recently been at a local body shop that was unable to do diagnostics and alignment on the parts. I initially worked with a man named Jeff Manzanares, at Schworer on a Thursday with assurance it would be repaired ASAP. Come Friday he is having trouble with insurance so says he is in contact with them. All will be solved that day. I call back on Monday and was informed he was on vacation the rest of the week.He had not passed my claim onto or told anyone about my car. Guess he assumed I should just wait for him to return (in over a week) to get my car which I dropped off for a 2 hours service. I spoke with a gentleman name Tracy Rogers and his supervisor Lori Cahill. Every day I called (twice most days) I was told they had no information and someone would call me back. NO ONE ever called me back day after day...I spoke with the insurance adjustor who advised that the initial submittal (surprised they actually did it) was incomplete. So I kept calling and calling the dealership (once again they would not return my calls though they had my car) and was not given any updates.Reached out to insurance agent who went out of her way calling and emailing them multiple times..... Finally they provided the information the insurance information the company needed (I HOPE)Finally I had enough today and went and picked up my car. Paid out of my pocket. Turns out is was fixed the entire time, they just wanted their money (understandable). For less than $400 I could have had my car the entire time. Now I am working with the insurance company independently for repayment but I have my car.BTW I have previously spent thousands of $ at this dealership on routine maintenance through the years. Been a loyal customer. But they could not trouble to call me over a 6 day period....... I had to call them... I had to deal with the insurance....

Schworer VW Service Department ReviewWe were traveling through Nebraska on I-80 in a heavy rainstorm when our Passat's dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree and the car stopped. We got it to limp off the freeway and called Schworer VW in Lincoln. Spoke with Tracy Rogers in Service and found they were open 'til noon on Saturdays, so we made an appointment for them to look at it. Upon arrival, Tracy met us and got the car inside for a technician to look at it even though Saturdays are normally light service days. The issue with the car would take time to troubleshoot and repair, and it was already nearly noon, so we reserved a rental car and Tracy took us to get the rental. Upon returning to the dealership to swap contents from our car to the rental, we found that the rental had a tire going flat. Both Tracy and the mechanic/technician stayed late to repair the tire and get us on our way. Upon our return the following Saturday, we found the car repaired, cleaned and ready to go. Tracy thoroughly explained what the problem was and how it was repaired. The following Monday, Tracy called as a follow-up to make sure we made it home and that everything with the car was satisfactory.Unfortunately, I did not get the name of the mechanic/technician, but a big shout-out to both he and Tracy Rogers!! EXTRAORDINARY customer service!

The salesperson I spoke with was great however Jake, the guy who runs numbers was a complete a-hole. Arrogant and insulting. Insisted I let him test drive my car to make sure it drive right and when I verified that it did he said "yeah for what it is" (2020 jeep). Just super unwelcoming. Will be working with a different Volkswagen location.

Coming here to look at the car that I was interested in and ending up getting the car, feeling really good! Thank you to Ken and Jacob for selling me my first car!! I'm from Grand Island and coming to Lincoln was worth the trip! The people here are really nice, inviting, and the place felt comfortable! Thanks so much!

I took my car in for a service regularly there which I thought included an air filter check. I was never told I needed a new air filter.I was travelling over the holiday and my check engine light came on. I had it taken to a dealership 5 hrs away, in which I was charged $225 to have the air filter replaced. The check engine light came on due to Mass Air Flow error code. Schworer evidently does not believe that "an extremely dirty and full" air filter would cause there to be a Mass Air Flow error. So basically I ended up spending 12 hours driving to pickup my car (I got a rental to get home) just for an air filter. For this whole ordeal, they offered me $70 off my next service! After calling them 3 times and Volkswagen of America once. The first time the service manager had no interest in doing anything at all for me, so the fact that they came up from 0 is impressive, I guess. I called them because I was surprised I had a dirty air filter and thought this would have been something they let me know about. I wasn't trying to be unreasonable, but it was much larger cost than it needed to be for me and I was hoping they would work with me. They maintained it wasn't their fault, even though their service includes checking the air filter, and actually told me that I could have driven the car. When the check engine light comes on over 300 miles from home, it's good to know that Schworer deflects blame and says I didn't have to leave it at that dealership. An air filter takes 2 minutes to replace and they say that it passed at 40k miles, (I also had my car in at 50k, but perhaps they didn't check it there). So apparently it was clean for 40,000 miles then in 15,000 miles just dropped off the deep end, the car was at about 55k whenever the check engine light came on.It's concerning that they don't know what can go wrong with the cars. The other dealership literally only replaced the air filter and it was fine after that and they're "not convinced that was the issue." After talking to other VW dealerships independent of the two I dealt with, they agreed absolutely that a dirty air filter can cause a Mass Air Flow error.I would avoid them if you want quality work done to your car. What's most concerning to me is that they refuse to accept an issue I had, the remedy that fixed it, and perhaps that it was an oversight that they had that caused it.
