Beat Buy Geek Squad sent me here when my Surface Pro 4 crapped the bed and wouldn't power on. I come in, freakin' out, at like 7:00pm hoping to goodness they can help me get the data off of it. They were upfront and said a buncha stuff about they'd break the screen to trouble shoot and they weren't sure if they'd have to send it to a clean room in Omaha to transfer data or not but sure they'd "get me in" and have someone look at it within 24h (this place is an hour and a half from my house, btw). Now, I could complain that they probably could have looked up whether my model had a disk drive or a chip and then transferred the data (or told me it was going to be more of an evolution) in about a half hour...instead it took about 24hrs, I had to call them, and, though my first hour investigating was free as a new customer, they charged me crazy for a copy-paste PLUS a hard drive (when I offered to leave a SD card there for them to use...that's beside the point...I shoulda been more assertive), but honestly, if it wasn't for them, all my data would still be lost because I'm clueless. Also, who am I to cut in front of their other business for faster attention. These guys were polite and respectful despite my relative idiocy in computers. I got what I needed, for sure, and the price was worth it to me, clearly, because I paid.I hope to never need a computer repair again, but if I do need help, I know a place to go - Schrock Innovations saved my sanity the past couple days.

We had been bringing our old computer here for repairs, but recently had the Schrock team build us a new one. The price was fair for the capability of the machine. Initial quality was an issue, as we had to bring it back in a few times the first month, but repairs were quick, and now things appear to be running smoothly.

3-19-24 contacted Schrock office in Lincoln. Person I talked to was Damien.My call was about having service done to my Desktop computer. Advised him it was running slow and that I thought it needed some updating.. He inquired about all my issues and then advised me what I could do. Damien was very knowledgeable about my issues. Was very easy to understand . When completing the call I was very happy with what I had learned. He thanked me for calling Schrock. I would be very happy to have him help me the next time I call.I would say that he is a keeper with Schrock.Pat R.

Shrock ran an Indiegogo campaign for a product called 'The Allen Band' (there are plenty of news stories if you search his name and the project), in which he took over $40k from backers(largely senior citizen listeners of his radio show) using photos of his injured father to get donations from kind hearts and then walked away cash in hand and refuses to address the project banning anyone that brings it up from his companies social media. This is how he runs his entire business.

Big KUDOS to Trenton...he has helped me so many times out of difficult issues on the computer. He is not only patient with my lack of knowledge (I know & understand enough to be dangerous), but he is also a very kind & pleasant person to deal with. He is knowledgeable & efficient & always solves the problem. I swear he's got magic fingers. We were told they could order a part for our laptop and it would take two weeks to come in, and then 2-3 days to fix. We waited for this part to come in for three weeks before we were told the part broke during shipping and that they would not be able to help us. While we waited for the part to come in, we called several times to check on its status. Each time the workers would tell us something different. One of the workers said the part would take 2 weeks to come in and another said it would take 6-8 weeks. That is just one example of the MANY inconsistencies! We got a full refund (of which the manager claims was only payed for the part) but we have a receipt that says differently. Just another example of their inconsistencies!!Need your computer fixed? We highly recommend going elsewhere!!

I wouldn't even give it one star. I took my lap top in on a Thursday (Nov. 2016) and said it would be done in a couple of days. The following Tuesday I called and he said it would be done by Friday. I need the lap top for my business. He stated they needed the cord and called me on Thursday which they didn't do. When I took it in, I asked if they needed the cord and they said, "No". After I told them I needed it, they said it would be done that afternoon. I took it home and it was doing the same thing. They didn't fix it at all! Go to Special Touch computer repair.
