A wonderful State Park along the valley of the Platte River that provides amazing views in the drive there. The bottom area provides a place to stop and have a picnic, feed some fish and check out a "archaeological" area. It also provides some great hiking trails. They provide 2 trails that can be combined to give you a nice 2 mile hike. The trail follows down to a cool suspension bridge and you can get down into the creek area and explore the rocks. The trip back takes you through the forest to a high area of pine trees. They also have a nice playground and picnic pavilion up the hill as well. Take a moment on your road trip and stop and visit this amazing place.

This is a wonderful center for kids of all ages. The tinker/maker space is fantastic. There is also a campsite creative play area that has great props to promote play.

A great place for a great walk. It doesn't have a lot of bike trails off of the main road the education center with all the fish in aquarium stuff is really well done.

I have driven by this place and never really knew it was there - I love that a part of the place that I can easily visit is right on the river. I am so glad that some friends have recommended it and have been back several times to watch the geese and the sunset. I highly recommend taking the time to enjoy this state park

Used the drop box to pay for day parking and explored the park some. Well maintained, plenty of space.

Why is that large snapping turtle in the tiniest enclosure? I'd hoped after your remodel you'd upgrade his area. Super depressing.

This is a fun, educational, relaxing, and quiet place. A little hidden spot to walk trails or just learn more about nature.I'll be back for sure! It's also not to far from the metro area which is nice! You don't have to drive far to get here.

This little recreation area gem is just off the beaten path... Only 5 miles south of Interstate 80 along Nebraska Highway 31.The Park has a geological display, a fish hatchery, a waterfowl display, a playground, camping shelters, a meditation shelter, and several picnic pavilions. The trail system is over 2 miles through mixed forest. there's one cable suspension bridge and 2 fixed truss bridges that cross a creek. Trail number one faces the southwest and get light until the very end of each day. Trail number to criss crosses the creek just over the bluff to the north. There are some great views of the Platte River along the bluff.

Great little park pretty close to omaha. I use it for trail running and it's one of the better tracks around. It is a bit short but has two main trails 1 being the shorter and 2 being the longer both are pretty well marked and maintained.
