The facility is very small but clean & my kids enjoyed the exhibits. I am only giving them two stars because most of the interactive exhibits (matching games & microscopes) were broken & a couple of the small tanks were empty (there aren't that many to begin with, keeping them all stocked would not be that difficult). Also, the staff may as well not be there. There were four people working when we went, and maybe 5 other patrons in the aquarium, we were not greeted, there were no directions given - nothing. I'd love to see my tax dollars go to someone that can at least pretend to care about their job.

This is a fun LITTLE place to visit, maybe while you are doing other things in the area. The tanks are clean and show a great variety of our local fish and there are exhibits that show the local wildlife and information about them. Not all kids would love it here, but if you have a little nature freak, it would be a fun place to go.

The best part about this aquarium is that admission is free, and for good reason. There isn't much to see here, but the aquariums they have are stocked with local species of fish, and the place is well-kept, albeit a little dated. My toddler son likes to look at fish, and could care less about much else, so it works fine for us. It would be nice if the aquariums were placed lower to the ground, so that kids can see the fish better. I believe they offer educational programs for school-age children, but the place was dead on the day we went, save for some Game & Parks employees in the office. I think you can also purchase park entry and hunting permits here, too. For what it's worth, and for what it is, it isn't a bad place.

We had such a great time here! I feel as though it is definitely worth the money. It's very educational for young children and keeps them entertained. We spent a few hours there with our toddler and even walked the trails outside! It was clean, spacious, and the staff was very friendly! We will definitely be going back this spring once the flowers bloom!

Pretty sad that they have gone from being free to charging $10 for adults, not even worth it! It was a good place to stop in when it was free because of how small it is, lack of info employees have and at times the tanks don't have what is listed or anything at all and employees didn't know! Not worth the money they charge as an entry fee!

This is a lovely day trip for families. The newly renovated space is gorgeous and is jam packed with activities. It took us an hour to go through the whole thing. There is a fun camp play ground for kids. The aquarium is stunning and shows off the beauty of our nebraska fish. When you are done with the education center there is miles of scenic trails you can hike through as well.
