Stopping in at Dr Shaffer's was our probably 8th stop for the wife to find a new pair of unique quality frames. as well as get new lenses for some custom frames she had made for her a few years ago. After many stops coming in here the selection and quality was much better. I myself ended up making an appointment and coming back a week later to update my glasses. Now while other places told me my insurance covered this and that. Coming here I found out that my insurance covered much more. So off the bat I had no charges for my exams. The exam was more than a what glasses do you need. He measured the pressure of my eye. Took cool star trek future thingy picture of my retina. and went over my overall eye health. I really felt taken care of.Then the glasses choices was great. I feel I got a really good deal on different glasses with all the bells and whistles. They arrived early the communication was great along with the fitting's. And they are warrantied as well.Loved coming out here and they have earned a life long customer!

I'd like to repost my review from google:IN-CREDIBLE. Dr. Connor was calm guy, professional, kind and thorough. GREAT personality. I had ordered a new pair that the lenses weren't quite right on my distance bifocal. Within 6 days, I had the new pair exchanged. WOW. I'm 66, and I think it's the best eyesight I've had in at least 13 years!! I'll be back next year for a 2nd pair, too! To be able to see as I drive, and yet have the ability to read print in the same eyeglass pair has been a true gift for me! I went to Costco and could see the aisles and read expiration dates on the jars for once! Melissa, BobbiJo, Helen and Jesus were so kind and caring, great personalities and really wanted only the best results for me! Did not have an appointment, they were very pleasant to work with over the phone and were able to work me into their schedule. Th facility is very nice and the Dr is great with a very personable and happy attitude. I would recommend this office to everyone.

Schaffer Family Eye Care corrected the incorrect prescription we received from Children's Hospital for my son a couple years ago. We have been clients ever since. I trust them with my kids' vision and care completely.

We are temporarily staying in Omaha with family while we are moving to Colorado and had a need to get my eyes checked and my 4 year old. Dr Schaffer was extremely caring, especially with me who started on contacts for the first time at age 40 years old and my son who we learned needed glasses for the first time. I was dreading this outcome because 4 year olds are hard to get to do anything let alone start wearing glasses immediately all the time and Dr Schaffer has been nothing but supportive and empathetic of helping him (and mom) into this transition of wearing glasses. really wonderful practice, you feel like they really care. We probably will make this our primary optician and just schedule appointments for when we visit from CO.

I purchased glasses from Millard Vision Center and when I came in to pick them up, they didn't bother to adjust them to fit my face properly. I had to come back to get more comfortable nose pads and they replaced them but still didn't check how they sat on my nose for comfort and the nose pads felt hard. I called them and they said it would cost me about $12 to replace the nose pads again. That's when I called Drs Schaffer & Schaffer eye care. Not only did they replace the nose pads on glasses I had previously purchased from them 2 years prior, they also replaced the nose pads on my new glasses that I didn't even get there. They also adjusted them for me so now they are comfortable. One trip to them and my problem was solved and completely free of charge. Thank You!! Customer service really matters and people should take it more seriously if they want repeat business. I will be a loyal customer at Drs Schaffer & Schaffer eye care from now on!
