Schafer's again I am disappointed in you! I came in a year ago to purchase a tv! Bought a warranty and felt really good about the purchase until I was taking tv off wall to move into another area and cracked screen! Warranty does not cover! Of course! Screen replacement more than new TV-ugh! Purchased a new TV and told that they would check on transfer unused warranty! Mr Steve Kleinschmidt could not even remember that I had purchased tv from him and that he would be giving me a call on the status of request! No call so went in and Face to face didn't remember me less than a week later! Also I asked if I could recycle old worthless screen broken tv and he said yes to that at time of sale "no charge". When brought tv in management said no there would be a charge! They claim they have good customer service but isn't that the first time they have failed me! Would not recommend them...local or not local!

I would like to thank you Schaefer's for the excellent service provided when our Whirlpool refrigerator broke down. While the repair period took some time for the parts to be received. The personnel of Schaefer's took the time to help explain the procedures and schedule visits. Kevin the repair man did an excellent job in repairing it, with giving care to our wooden floors and surrounding walls. Again thank you for your care!!!

Had a sales person assist me with some refrigerator questions, all went well but also had a installation question, said he had to ask his manager. I waited at least 15 to 20 minutes then went looking for him, oh he was helping a larger group of people, maybe thought he could make that sale and come back to me for a possible sale also. I waited a bit longer, went looking for him again, no where to be found. Could of sent some of the people sitting in that snotty circular command and control center they have going on there or the 2 guys just standing around by the exit, doing nothing, to just say hey he will be with you shortly but no. I left, WON'T be back ever. I can and did get better service at Home Depot, yup a place that hires college students part time.

Bought a refrigerator from them had it delivered. When I plugged it in the condenser fan was hitting something. Delivery guy immediately called his supervisor, the supervisor called Schaefers. Girl told him she would call me shortly, she never did. Called them no response. Opened the back tapped the fan housing and the rubbing stopped, luckily. That was the first and last time I buy anything from them.

Have had them come out 3 times to fix the same issue and was told that because we didn't buy the extended warranty they couldn't do anything. That they could charge us every time even if it was 7-8 times for the same issue. I was informed that they try their best. However won't make things right.

I am going to agree with the review that once they make a sale then your on your own. I bought a washer and dryer from Schaefers 3 months ago. The washer quit working this weekend and now i'm being told that they can get someone to work on the under warranty washer for a couple of weeks. Terrible service. This is not the first thing i bought from Schaefers but it will be the last. Excuse me while I go to the laundromat.

Bad customer service.....I bought a bran new wash and dryer, a month later the washer stops working, so obviously covered under the warranty, they can't come look at for a week and a half, so I'm stuck with no washer until then. Once they make the sale, they don't care about their customers.

Beware of this stores extended warranty. We bought a washer and dryer there and the sales people pushed and pushed us to get an extended warranty which I never buy but they said if you don't use it you get the full price back as store credit. So I bought it and did not have to use it so when the warranty was up we went in and they said yes we have a credit of $190 for store credit no stipulations were mentioned. So way later we are ready to buy a large screen tv and decided to buy a mount first and was told at check out no credit was available. They said the credit was only good for 6 months which no salesman was willing to tell us with so much vigor as when they sold us the warranty. They just said read your paperwork that's why we give it to you. Yeah right everyone wants to read a 1000 word agreement, that's what they count on. Very disappointed to see a local store screwing you like a big box store. I never had these issues at NFM. This store is dead to me and hopefully to all my family and friends. For that $190 they lost a sale of a min of a 85 inch Tv. Like it says Caveat Emptor buyer be ware!!!!!

Do not shop here! Customer service is the worst I have experienced on many levels. I have a broken washer purchased from them less than a month old that they want to fix as opposed to replace. Laundromat costs due to down washer have exceeded $400.00 so far.
