The residents of Sarpy County are quite proud of the new carpeting in the courthouse.

Who really ever wants to go to the courthouse? Maybe unless you're having a wedding but otherwise a visit here is generally dreaded. The officers at the doors scanning persons and belongings are welcoming and efficient. The majority of the staff smile when they pass you in the hallway and the ones behind the glass helping you are pleasant and efficient. Judge Palms handled the chaos of his court room with practiced efficiency. I'm not sure who the gentleman at one of the tables was but his knowledge of more than two languages was amazing. I'm not sure how much of the various languages he knew, but he was able to ask and then direct individuals that the court would get an interpreter to help them. He also somehow managed to do two jobs at the same time. It's like he had two brains, four ears and two mouths. Maybe some extra hands. I was very impressed.

We came here today to get our passports. The staff was very friendly and treated us so nicely. We got in right away and they stayed on top of things to get us back on the road to our next appointments. So nice to deal with happy people and an efficiently run office!

Too many unsolved murders, drive by shootings, rapes and other crimes. The sheriff's department has very slow response times. Deputies and staff are conceited and arrogant. Some of them think they are above the law. When will we see arrests and convictions of the drive by shooters on June 25, 2007 in Walnut Creek Hills? The criminals shot at a house, put a large bullet hole in the dining room window and barely missed the resident inside by 12 inches. The resident received a police report number, but the sheriffs department failed to investigate and make any arrests. In the past 36 months, there have been 24 teenagers that have committed suicude in Sarpy County. Calls for action to curb the suicide epidemic have fallen on deaf ears.

J.P. (Jamison) Brown arrested me for speeding ticket turned into an obstruction of a peace officer criminal charge. If they can get away with it they will."YOU GO 1 MILE OVER WE GIVE YOU A TICKET! IT'S UP TO OUR DISCRETION!" x 3"EVERYONE IN NEBRASKA DRIVES THE EXACT SPEED LIMIT OR ELSE WE GIVE YOU A TICKET!"later"YOU CAN DRIVE 5 MI OVER.."When I went to record this conversation, he acted like it was a completely new conversation. Because I wanted him to clarify what he said before it turned into an obstruction of a peace officer which was misconstrued. The judge and lawyer really wanted to teach me a lesson to respect the law, so now I have a criminal record for a speeding ticket. SO FAKE!Don't expect the body cam that they wear to protect you. I think they don't record the beginning parts of interactions. So that's why they act so differently from start to finish. They are reluctant and downright hostile when doing an internal investigation and even get their lawyer involved, even though I was the one that filed it. It took over 8 months which gave them plenty of time to cover it up.ALSO to his LAWYER. In fact J.P. Brown did not want to help me with my cat. He wanted her put in an animal shelter. It was the other officer Ralph Rowell.J.P. Brown wanted me arrested, in jail, car towed, cat in animal control because we argued and because he did not want to repeat what he had told me earlier. The footage shown was me getting him to clarify what speed he would allow me to drive. Not refusing to give my license. That is stupid. I would rather get a ticket than go to jail. We were talking for way longer than the footage shows! Where is it?? There must be others with the same complaint.ALSO this courthouse started of well but since I had to ask for a lot of help they tried to refuse me and make up excuses. The assistant county clerk Lori Koeneke told me over the phone that I was self important... Are you kidding me??? It's your job. Not mine. Sorry, I called you while you were working. I should have gone to law school so I don't have to call or email to ask questions. Also, her supervisor Dana Ritchheart who is in the same office as her just says, she didn't know what was going on even after I send her screen shots of my emails. You cannot just let her personal annoyance refuse to answer emails just because I ask questions. How dare they. Even the Supreme Court of Nebraska said I should contact them. She expected me to look everything up, but sometimes it is not clear. Why don't I search engine it. It is her job. Her supervisor should tell her this. She tried to lie to me and said she takes a week to answer emails, but she also told me she has to respond in 48 hours. I know she is busy but that's not the point. That is what a normal job entails. Not everyone is going to be to your liking. If only you can deal with lawyers and judges. But, guess what? You have to deal with the public too.Oh, and they're busy. So they cannot get back to you . Well it's been over a couple months already. I guess I'm so self important. Only rapes and shootings are good enough for the court. Judging from the other reviews, they don't do a good job here with that either. I should be okay with a criminal record for a traffic ticket.UPDATE: I want to add officer Rowell yelled at me too, but it was all edited out. It was like they voice overed or muted those parts. It doesn't make sense that the most calmest and nice police officers would arrest someone for something so small unless there was something that happened previously. I filed a investigation right after the arrest, but I warn you against this as it they turn the case against you instead. The lawyer said it was an active "crminal investigation" so the police can not tell me about the progress of the complaint I made! They acted like they were investigating me instead as if this was something more serious than a traffic ticket!! Was I selling heroin?? You never know..They also use the excuse that they have other cases. You can see tumbleweeds going across in this town. Funny, when I went to the jail it wasn't hopping with activity. I know people are busy, but c'mon. I guess they fooled me good. Does anyone believe they are soooo busy??
