Sandwich Bowl has an awesome selection! The chef salad is my go to salad in town! My favorite sandwich is the Chatburn with the Mexi ranch. My favorite soup is the pig slop soup!

Somewhat funky and very casual place, friendly service. Had a great sandwich, Reuben, salad and some excellent soup, chicken gumbo, everything was very tasty and the price was very friendly to the pocketbook. They have a decent size menu and vegetarian options, everybody should be able to find something that trips their trigger.

I've been to the Sandwich Bowl at least 75 times over the past several years. I have never had a bad sandwich or bowl of soup there ever. We are very fortunate to have a place to go to in Harlan with this type of menu. Lots of choices to pick from. Prices are very decent. We have to remember the Sandwich Bowl needs to make some money to survive. I'm more then willing to pay a little more for a very great quality meal. For those reviewer who think the Sandwich Bowl is pricey, I want to emphasize that we want the Sandwich Bowl successful. If they are successful, they will bring out of towners to Harlan to maybe even shop the awesome square of businesses in downtown Harlan.
