It was a terrible experience, we have used them for years for maintenance and service and have referred so many people to Sandhills, that is why this is so upsetting. We priced a new unit with a local company after the fact and they overcharged us $1000 for an A/C unit and then when we gave them a credit card for $4600 they charged another $180 to use a card. We had trouble with the thermostat the very first night and they had to come back twice to get it right. They left wires on the ground outside and never caulked around the hoses leading into the house. They found a dead mouse in the old unit and instead of hauling it away with the old they tossed in the yard for our dog to get it. I have never experienced an owner that cared less. When we told him about the overcharging by his daughter he was not upset and made no attempt to correct the problem. Stay away.

I've used Sandhills since they installed a heat pump in my previous home, over 13 years ago. They've always responded quickly when I've needed them. Adam came out this last time to repair my ac that quit on one of the hottest days. He was very courteous and answered my questions. He repaired it in a timely manner. I was worried I wouldn't be able to get someone out there that day.

Sandhills has serviced my furnace and A/C for almost 20 years. Jerry, Nick and Cooper are knowledgeable, helpful, courteous and kind. They recently installed a new unit in the house. I highly recommend them.
