Great shop. I purchased a used Honda from them. When I asked the owner to take it to have it inspected with a mechanic, he told me, "You'll find no issues with this car" and he was right. When you buy a car from these guys, they stand behind it. Their body shop and service department is great too. If you drive a Honda or Acura, you'd be stupid not to do your repairs here.

I know when I take my car into S&M Import Auto that it and I are in good hands. They never try to sell me on any maintenance I don't need and I trust that whatever the problem was, that it is fixed. It's like taking my car to a trusted family member. Plus, they always leave these tasty little mints in my car-thanks guys!!!

I bought an ABS unit over the phone from this shop. The wrong item was sent to me (an ABS Pump booster hydraulic actuator, not the ABS unit). I called the shop and explained the situation to John. John asked me to take a picture of the part I received then email it to him, and he will call me back to resolve the issue. 6 days past and I never heard back from him. When I called to follow up, he asked me to retune the part to him, and he will refund me my money after deducting the shipping fees. Besides that, I will be responsible for the return shipping fees. I explain to him that I live in CA, and I bought this part to save money, and now I will be losing close to $50 to fix their mistake. But he did not care. When I asked to speak to the manager, he said that he is the sales manager and the only one who can resolve my issue.I asked what he would do if this situation happened to him? or how he would feel about it? He did not know what to say, and he hung up the phone.What was annoying besides paying for their mistake was that he never apologized, not even once. In fact, he made it seem as it was my fault for receiving the wrong part.Very unprofessional way to deal with customers.

This place is amazing and I'm sorry to not have posted a review before now because they been my go to Honda shop for more than a year. My first experience with S&M was because my son's Honda Civic hybrid wouldn't drive forward when in drive. The recommended a towing company (L&I who was also great and very inexpensive) to get his car over to them. They looked at the car and determined it was not in need of a transmission (something that is very common with Civic hybrids) and required a much cheaper and easier fix. That alone saved me $1100 dollars. Yesterday, while driving home my Accord suffered a broken ball joint. Again, L&I came to the rescue and towed my car to S&M. I left it after hours with no forewarning to them that it was being dropped off other than an after hours voicemail I left. I was called the next morning before 8:00 AM and was told they would take a look at it and get back to me. Long story short, they fixed it the same day! They are pleasant to work with. Knowledgeable in what they do. Friendly, trustworthy, and honest. Oh, and they put mints in your cup holders when you get the car back! I'm a fan! They will forever have my business!
