Just a regular grocery store. Nothing to bad, nothing particularly great. I like Hy-Vee better.

I'm fairly new in town and just discovered this market close to my home last week. Did a week's worth of shopping and discovered I could not take the cart outside after everything was bagged and paid for. So I loaded all the plastic bags on my arms and walked to my car. ( I used my ATM card to pay. ( Because charging groceries can be a very bad habit.)Not thrilled. Stopped by today for bread, milk and wine. One bag. I figured Russ's is ok for pick-up shopping. But their machine wouldn't accept my chip. It also didn't like my magnetic strip. So I had to go home and get my Visa Card. I couldn't get cash back, of course, since I used a charge card. Because I'm new in town, I don't have a local bank. Getting cash back at the grocery store is my way of obtaining cash. I have shopped at A Street Market, Super Saver, Hy-Vee and Trader Joe's. My card works fine there. Needless to say, I shan't be back. Their prices are as high as Hy-Vee anyway so it's not a loss for me. The cashier told me they won't let us take the. Grocery carts out because they have no corrals in the parking lot. But I don't like being forced to tip the bag boy for rolling out my groceries when I am capable of doing it. ( Also note: in Lincoln, Nebraska everybody returns carts. )

I have been shopping here for 7 years. Everything is good, but the Deli always has been a nightmare. I swear, they must pu their worst employees in the Deli. One time I ordered breakfast there and I never got it because the cook was asleep at a table in the dining room. Lately, I've been trying to give them another shot since they are close to my house. All I wanted was ham and some breakfast potatoes. The deli supervisor is dumb. Instead of asking me what I want, he always tries to guess. I went there Saturday morning and the short girl with a terrible weave, stopped taking orders when I got to the counter and went over and started talking to her friend. This deli is a joke.

I'm surprised that there are so many negative reviews for this store! It's clean, larger than I expected and prices are lower than I expected as well! My sense is that if you're buying lots of dry goods or bulk items, you could probably find lower prices elsewhere but it's a complete grocery store so all the staples are here (and then some) and for someone who lives nearby, there's no reason not to come here in a pinch or even do all of your grocery shopping here. I'll definitely be back!

It's a nice neighborhood market with a good selection of food. I was having trouble finding something and I asked the store manager (Chrissy) where it was and she was so very polite and helpful. She stopped what she was doing and showed me where my selection was. Then she asked if she could be of further help. Great customer service. Additionally, the store is well lit and clean. I'll be back. Thanks Chissy and the Russ' team.

I have one question in particular that I've been meaning to ask for a while now. But that can wait, as I need to instead state something more important. And that involves you taking certain products off the shelves to corner the market with your own brands, of which I clearly notice a difference in quality. If this had been a one-time occurrence, I could understand. But it's quite intentional, as I've noticed it happen multitudes of times. It is quite disheartening to observe this practice take place, as some of these products you disinvolve have far more nutrients than what yours can provide.

This has become the worst deli in town!Very rude employees..refuse to assist with salads after 7:45 pm ...I stopped by for the $.75 tenders today for lunch ...got 5 wasn't offered any sauce ...kid never even smiled or made eye contact the whole time he was "helping" me If there was ANY other deli options in this neighborhood I would not be back, but sadly they have a monopoly on my grocery/deli needs

Seriously the worst grocery store ever. Horrible service and they either can't update their hours online or they closed 15 minutes early, with many employee cars in the parking lot. Never going back.

I have been going to this grocery store for years and it has been getting worse and worse. The store is very expensive ($1.69 for the cheapest bread) and has higher than Hy-Vee prices without the Hy-Vee type of customer service. I notice that the store doesn't have any courtesy clerks after 6pm and there aren't ever enough grocery cashiers due to the lack of incompetent supervisors who don't know a thing about customer service. There used to be a cashier named Eric, who worked nights at the store and was always so kind to everyone. Unfortunately, the management fired him for unknown reasons. He was everyone's favorite cashier and some people shopped shopping there because he was one of the few who cared about customers. The people in the Deli are very incompetent (except Devon, the deli manager) and all the employees who have a brain leave this store. The exception is the pharmacy. The pharmacists, Grant Meier and Scott Tvrz, are phenomenal people and know their customers by name. Thankfully, the Russ's Market Pharmacy is a lot cheaper than Walgreens or CVS.
