My car had been making a humming noise, probably for months, that I had written off as tire noise until it got way louder than I would've expected for tires. Anyway, I had it checked out at Russ' Garage since they exclusively service Subarus. Dropped it off in the morning, got a estimate by noon, and had a new wheel bearing/plate assembly installed by 4pm. There was some phone tag on my end, so that timeline could be shifted up by an hr or so each step of the way. The car drives like it used to, which for me, means that now all I hear is actual tire noise at highway speeds. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Subaru, Subaru, Subaru. If you have a Subaru, take it here! EmJay and the crew will take great care of your car. Every detail goes into it and they will not do anything to your Subaru that they would not do to their own. They're upfront, honest, and will give you updates about how the repair work is going. I trust them which is an emotion I've never experienced with any other body shop. So if you have a Subaru, take it here. If you don't have a Subaru, buy one so you can enjoy the vehicle and take advantage of this place. They don't work on anything else.

Russ' Garage is the perfect place for all things Subaru. I take my 2013 STi there for oil changes and performance work alike. On the rare occasion that something needs repaired, anything they fix stays fixed! Russ, EmJay, and the rest of the staff are all professional and in my experience have gone above and beyond every time. If your Subaru is in need of any maintenance Russ' Garage is the place to go.

Called up wanting a quote for a repair, was told no over the phone quotes. My veh is a 1999 Forester and Im on a limited budget and new to Omaha. Only have 140K miles, so I don't need the works, just wanted to know how much to replace orig head gaskets. Lady that answered said, 06 are about $4k (with doing a lot of extra, replacing parts that I may not need). I said, I just want the head gasket replaced, can I get a mech to call me up and she said no. So I don't have a good experience with this outfit.

Russ' Garage is a auto repair shop that specializes in Subarus. EmJay, Russ and the crew performed the 100k timing belt service and replaced the leaking head gaskets on our 2002 Outback Wagon. EmJay gave me an original estimate to complete the work before starting, and they beat it by more than 10%. They also don't markup the cost of the parts - what they pay is what you pay on your invoice. They also plan ahead, quote you and and get all of the parts they may need - but they only charge you for the parts they actually use. While working on the car, they also identified that one of our CV boots was torn. They priced up a rebuilt axle ($300!), and decided to remove the CV, install the new boot, reinstall the CV and re-pack it, all for a small fraction of the rebuilt axle.I can't say enough praise about them. This shop is fair, reasonable, honest, and legit. You can't beat this shop if you own a Subaru. AND - for you car tuners and race-boys: these guys will help you get the most of your Subbie. They drive and race their own Subbies too!

Called to ask questions about general maintenance. EmJay took time out of her day to help me out, describing in detail how to solve my problem. Will be giving them our business the next chance we get.
