The food was delicious! it filled me up after one sandwich, and the fries and onion rings were really crispy. The ambiance was good, considering I was the only one dining in, and it was decently quiet. The service was amazing, the employees were nice to me. Overall, good place to eat. Would come again.

I always make bad puns, but it's not just me. It Runza in the family.Runza is the pride and joy of Nebraska and it's one of the fast food locations in the area that is very specific to Nebraska and only really famous and known around here - but very well known around here, and is clearly one of those things where you would take an out-of-towner to experience a little piece of Nebraska.I actually think their food is pretty good. The Runza itself is tasty, unique, and exciting. I'm surprised that more people don't like it. I think it's from Germany or something. I'm not sure exactly. Let's say Germany just to be arbitrary about it. Actually no let's look it up on Wiki. And if you want the scoop from Wiki: "A runza (also called a bierock, krautburger, fleischkuche, or kraut pirok) is a yeast dough bread pocket with a filling consisting of beef, cabbage or sauerkraut, onions, and seasonings. Runzas can be baked into various shapes such as a half-moon, a rectangle, a round (bun), a square, or a triangle. The runzas sold by the Runza restaurant chain are rectangular while many of the bierocks sold in Kansas are round buns."And there's more - "The runza sandwich originates with the pierogi. Volga Germans adapted the pierogi to create the bierock, a yeast pastry sandwich with similar savory ingredients. When the political climate turned against the Volga Germans many emigrated to the United States, creating communities of Germans from Russia across the Great Plains. These immigrants brought their bierock recipes with them, including the Brening family that settled near Sutton, Nebraska. Sarah "Sally" Everett (née Brening), originally of Sutton, is credited with adapting her family's bierock recipe into the runza and also inventing the name for the sandwich. In 1949, Everett went into business selling runzas with her brother Alex in Lincoln."And so Runza became a thing. And if you don't know, now you know. The only thing I don't like about this place is that it Runzaout of food fairly early.

I have never had bad food or bad service here. Tonight the girl on drive through was so rude. Very pointedly RUDE. Watched her snatch the card from the lady in front of me and shove a bag at her. When I pulled up and handed my card out she rudely snatched it from me too. If I didn't have kids in the car she would've heard a few words. Worst customer service ever...if I had been a guest from out of state and came because "Runza is a Nebraska thing" I'd be so disappointed...and pissed at the rude treatment. Fries never dissapoint... but this little gal sure did.

I ordered a cheese runza and watched the guy in the back cut one my runza, slap a slice of cheese in there and wrap it back up. Came out looking like a sub. If I wasn't on a time crunch I'd have been upset. I'll settle by not coming here again.

Runza's are great when you aren't starving and want some unpretentious fast food. Nothing fancy or amazing here, but will satisfy your hunger none the less. Fries are meh, Ask for "frings" a combination of fries and onion rings.

I love this place. Always friendly staff. Years ago I found hair in my runza, which soured me for a few years, but I came back to give them another chance. They have never disappointed me since. I love the runza and their crinkle cut fries. I usually get an order of "frings" (a combination of fries and onion rings).
