Great local bar. Ruff is behind the bar laughing, making jokes, and pouring drinks. Good prices. Better than other happy hour places on 3rd. Highly recommend.

Excellent hole in the wall bar. Old style.....still has carpet on some walls. People in bar are friendly business looking people. 8 beers on tap. One bartender. Place is small and perfect alternative to all franchise, overrated, overpriced & loud bars.

We used Ruffs to cater the alcohol at a 600 guest wedding reception. They provided security, bartenders and a excellent selection of alcohol. Very easy to work with. Jesse and the girls were very accommodating to all of our needs. I would highly recommend them for such an occasion

Fun little hole in the wall downtown GI bar, good happy hour deals, crazy small booths and tiny restrooms (at least the mens' and it's the kind of joint that opened before women's rooms so I can't imagine). Good juke box to grove out on if you're in the mood, if ya wanna go crazy play some Afroman ("Cos I Got High") and Rick James

This hole in the wall bar is my favorite place to be! Great atmosphere, fun bartenders and the best drink prices in town.

Next to the definition of "Dive Bar" should be a picture of Ruff's. The walls are covered in a red shag carpet that still reeks of Marlboro light smoke and sweat. The bathrooms are literally closets with a toilet in them. Artifacts from the past line the walls. If you're not from here you would walk out the second you walked in. Stick around though and you'll see a great show. Ruff's is Grand Island's "Melting Pot." Look around the room on a Friday night and you'll see homeless people, business owners, politicians, and everyone in between. The beer is cheap and cold. Free popcorn! They kick crappy songs off the jukebox. It's the best bar in town.
