I LIVE for vintage shops like this! And evidently, this one has been living a good while- 25 years, I believe she said. There is a parking garage next door that offers the first hour free, which was perfect. Good to have a time limitation on my favorite time vampire. Outside the door is an old fashioned screen door- haven't seen one of those on a business in awhile. Charming. First floor is petite, with mostly tops, hats and a ton of jewelry, and a few other items. Downstairs is where the bulk of the merch is. It's deceptively large down there, especially compared to the petite first floor. The clothes are well organized by era and size and overall looked to be in pretty good condition. Prices were average. Staff was very friendly. Found a lovely 50's dress and matching necklace for a total of $50. Looking forward to wearing this outfit.

I haven't lived in Lincoln for 20 years, but I usually hit Ruby Begonia's if I get downtown at all.The storefront looks tiny, but there's a fairly sizable downstairs that extends a lot further than the first floor. On the first floor they feature earrings, sunglasses, wigs, and a couple of clothes. Downstairs they have a selection of hats, gloves, and men's and women's clothes/coats/shoes, with a smattering of robes and slips. Clothes and even shoes are grouped by size, and they have dressing rooms. They do rentals too. I am a fan of vintage hats and gloves and have made several happy finds here, which have been very reasonably priced (most of the hats run $8-$15).The place is now the only vintage store in Lincoln, so if you do vintage, you owe it to yourself to come here.

One of the main reasons I miss living near Lincoln. I have not yet found a store comparable to Ruby Begonias. The dresses there are my favorites, and the dressing rooms are conveniently located downstairs so you're not awkwardly walking in front of a lot of people to show your friends the outfit. Ruby Begonias is fairly priced as well. Just because it is "vintage" doesn't mean they charge you like you're bidding on a antique piece at an auction. I have been able to find some really good deals there. It's a must stop for me whenever I'm in Lincoln.

Awesome vintage clothing store in downtown Lincoln. Every time I go here I also hit up Stella's, Black Market, and the Post & Nickle too. Next time you find yourself in Lincoln and in need of clothing, forget about Westfield Shopping Towne and head downtown instead.

Found a great pair of Jackie O. Sunglasses here for a great price of $12. Ruby's is a unique little store and it is always fun to stop by and see what they have!

Cute vintage store downtown. Lots of vintage clothes. Racks were a tad overstuffed and made it hard to shop.
