people beware!! of doing cash bar for an event with them they left at 9:00 pm when people were still drinking!! and were going to continue to drink until midnight when they were supposed to be done I tried to contact Kelly the owner to discuss, meet, etc. she said no reason to meet, made excuses they weren't making enough etc. hmm that's funny cuz everyone said they had quite a few drinks and as I said above were STILL DRINKING when they left!!!! we were planning to have live music after our DJ was done but that didn't happen as everyone was upset about this and left totally ruined the night!!!

Pretty awesome small town bar - one of only two in town. Being in here is almost like antique shopping when it comes to the beer signs, but there's also an electronic rubber singing deer head and unnaturally large shotgun mounted on the wall so you can't really forget where you are. Well stocked bar, cheap drinks, not too busy. And as the t-shirt says... this is where 'the action is'. At least in Tekamah.

This is a nice little small town bar; it's almost like an Irish pub if the Irish were farmers in eastern Nebraska. If you are in Tekamah after 9:00, this is your only option in town for a drink in a social atmosphere. This is a bar in a town where everyone knows everyone, but if you are from out of town they are still a friendly crowd, especially the owner. They have a pool table, jukebox, and two TV screens for watching sports. They have some pub food for sale and some nice drink specials (Rolling Rock for $2.50). I would recommend the bar for being a good place to get reasonably priced drinks; my tab after five drinks was $12.50.My only complaint is the lack of diversity in beer selection. They don't have taps so all the beer comes from bottles or cans. They have Bud, Coors, Corona, Hamm's, Guinness, Rolling Rock, and Leinenkugel, but it would have been nice if they'd had a little more in the craft beer selection, like Boulevard or whatever else is brewed in the Midwest.

This bar took the job of my step sons wedding. They did not stay until midnight as originally stated. They removed half the booze at 7:30pm because no one had ordered. Our dinner was later and most weren't even done eating to drink much. Then the experience was awful because the female bartender had to be told how to make the drinks as well. You shouldn't take jobs that you don't plan to do!
