Came for a show ordered tickets online and we picked the table we wanted by the stage online. The staff is a joke they did not honor the seats we paid for. We sat in the back because they told everyone to set where ever they wanted to. Complete BULLSHIT!!!!! I'd fire the staff and management. The show was really good but we will not be back to this place. I'd stay away from this place

Great concert in a beautiful theater! What's not so beautiful is the staff and the woman that runs the place, Pam. It was freezing cold outside and there were a few of us huddled in the foyer waiting for doors to open. I witnessed this lady deny entry for an elderly gentleman to use the restroom, and instead she forced him to walk outside (in the freezing cold) elsewhere. I couldn't help but feel so unwelcome and disheartened to see the director of the theater treat the guests so cold and awful. I was disgusted and appalled that this woman runs the place. Very rude and disgusting behavior for guests attending the show as well, the lady sitting next to us was crying over how nasty this lady treated her too. If you attend this venue, be prepared to deal with an old vile woman that runs the place! Very disappointed because this was the first time I had attended a show here, will not be back as long as this lady is running the place!

I've been to my umpteenth wedding this season, so I've seen my fair share of receptions. The Rococo Theatre is probably my favorite reception venue in town. I am just old enough to remember going there when it was the "Stuart Theater", before it was bought & renovated. This theatre plays host to concerts, guest speakers, stand up comedy, fundraiser dinners, and a variety of other events. In addition to the booths & tables on the main floor, they have a couple balconies with table seating too. There's a bar on the 1st & 2nd floor, plus bathrooms on every floor. You have to use the Green Gateau for your catering if you're doing an event here, but if you've seen the Green Gateau's Yelp review, you'll be pleased. I hear they're a little pricy, but I can vouch for the quality of the food. Yum!This really is a classy place, and judging by their website (http://www.rococotheatre.com), they are very professional.Their website is very helpful (photos, floorplan, FAQ, history), so I recommend visiting it. But in the meantime....Most of the weddings & fundraisers I've been to there go something like this:- If ceremony is there, it's held on or in front of the stage- Musicians/DJ on stage during reception- 2 buffet tables set up on floor in front of stage- Wedding party or speaker will make their "grand entrance" onto stage after waiting in the wings at Barrymore's Bar (see Yelp review). The bar is literally backstage.- Buffet tables are cleared to make room for a dance floor- Cake is usually cut in a space near the ground floor bar

Amazing venue with poor customer service--bartenders and tickets-takers are cold, unfriendly people and that sure sucks some of the fun out of the experience.

This is a very beautiful theatre! I loved staring at the art and architecture when I was visiting for a show. I sat up in the balcony and the sound was great!A couple things to think about:While the sound in the balcony was great, the seats are wood benches. Honestly, they are more comfortable than they look, but you must sit with perfect posture, or else all you'll be staring at the back of the head of the person in front of you (Or the couple in front of you making out, in my case...) Also, I couldn't imagine it would be comfortable at all if you were attended a heavily attended event. This is just not ideal for hours of sitting. Last, the bar only takes cash--at least that was the case when I was there--and they have no ATM. Personally, I don't understand how this is beneficial to the theatre, especially when you charge 6 dollars for less than a bottle of beer. Oh well!!

The office staff here is fantastic! I was able to get tickets for a comedy show here thanks to their competence. Upon entering we were wanded for weapons and had my purse checked. They also had some clueless people checking IDs. My son was not 21 (the show was 18+) but was NOT trying to get a wristband to drink. The guy almost didn't let him in! Hello. Probably need some training as to what you are supposed to be doing. Onto the theater itself, I do appreciate the seating arrangement here as it's not the typical theater seating. It's a combination of booths and tables. We were at a 2 person table on the far right. My back was up against the exit door and I could feel a cold draft the whole time. Needless to say, I had to wear my coat the whole time. We got there early and they were playing some music. It was so loud we could barely talk to each other. I went to go get some drinks and found the lines very long. They also only take cash!! I thought the bar prices were a bit ridiculous also. A bottle of Bud Light is $6. A bottle of water is $3. Really?! Overall I enjoyed the show and would probably return if the show was right.

My boyfriend, my friend and I were at a comedy show at Rococo Theatre on a weekday night. We got our tickets at will call, but my friend had a ticket with the wrong date on it. The Executive Director, Pam G - was probably one of the most rudest women I have ever met in my life. You could already tell upon talking to her that she was in a bad mood and when my friend approached her to look up his name about his ticket confusion, she quickly went in a back door and walked out a minute later, refused to talk with him about his issue and said "Your ticket is scalped, you need to leave," and before we could even get a word in said again, "End of conversation, you need to leave." My friend DID NOT scalp his ticket. He tried to show her a confirmation email of the ticket he purchased with the valid date and confirmation number and she refused to look and had security come and try to kick us out, when two of us had tickets that were absolutely valid! We were being completely reasonable and she would not even listen to what we had to say. Pam is extremely rude and you could tell her employees didn't enjoy working for her that much either. I can't believe that she is the face of that business, I've never been treated so poorly by anyone before, and I will NEVER go back to that theatre. I will let anyone I know that is expecting to go there to turn the other way. Pam G - you need to learn how to treat people respect if you want to be the head/face of a business. DON'T GO TO THIS VENUE.

I remember this venue as "The Stu," the old Stuart Theater that showed movies in my now way back in the day college days. Now it's all cleaned up, renovated and a gorgeous spot for the right act.The lower level where I was (sorry, I didn't make it up to the balcony) features alternating rows on a horizontal floor plan of tables and booths. The tables are on the side of the aisle closer to the stage with the booths behind them. There are truly no bad seats. I was towards the back and a bit on the side, but I was able to see the whole stage without any problems or having to strain.I do have a couple of small critiques and suggestions. As you walk into the venue, the bar is right in the middle of everything. Normally this is a good problem, but the hallway here is small and the crowd will back up causing problems if you're trying to enter the venue, walk up to the balcony or take the stairs down to the bathrooms (which are super nice bathrooms by the way.) I wish the venue would direct you to your seats and hire servers to come and gather drink orders. Yes, you will have some who just want to walk to the bar, but I think people will tip a server just as they tip a bartender and this could solve the congestion problem. I also wish the venue had a couple of ushers who could help direct people to their seats. When I walked in there weren't any and people were just randomly walking around lost. The ushers arrived later, but acted more like security and though polite weren't as helpful.Since I don't live in the area any more, I don't know how often I'll return to Rococo, but I will say if the right performer is scheduled, I won't hesitate to return.

Second time to see Arlo Guthrie at this venue. Wish I could have afforded the same seats as last time but this place is beautiful. No worries.

Not a lick over 1 Star and that's only because the venue itself is beautiful and super unique! The bartenders and the gal who runs operations are the issue. We had a wedding this past weekend (3.30.19) and boy did they make things beyond difficult & uncomfortable for EVERY single person in the place- bride, groom, wedding party, parents of the bride and groom included. It was very apparent they did not want to be there and they did not want us to be there. I won't even tell you about how the bride and groom needed things from the coordinator the day before the wedding, the morning of the wedding, and NOPE. She wasn't having it and wouldn't meet up with them or help them out. I could continue to go on and on because it was quite the ordeal, But if you want to feel special and like you matter and not have to worry about a thing on THE BIGGEST DAY of your LIFE, DO NOT go to the Rococo until they make some major changes.
