Rockbrook Camera

Somethings never change, and Rockbrook Camera is one of them. As I decided to tackle converting my VHS, super 8, dvd home movies/videos to digital I found my camcorder inoperable after 20 years. The logical thing was to take it to Rockbrook where the tape stuck inside was rescued. Friendly, knowledgeable and patient people helped me now as they had 30 years ago. Kudos and thanks!

I came in a while before closing, I needed to get this lens off my hands and this kind man (I didn't get his name) helped me get what I could out of it, and managed to bare with the bombardment of questions he was asked. I felt really bad for asking him to do so much, but he never complained once and you can tell he loves to work there.

Yeah, ordered online, the took my money, send an email saying thank you, then sent an email saying shipped, then sent an email saying cancelled, then sent and email saying refunded and never refunded. Called sales rep, totally didn't care wouldn't even look into the issue. Emailed multiple times they do not even respond.

Overall I have a good experience here--- the associates are helpful and knowledgeable. It can definitely depend on who you get. This latest time I dropped my camera off for a cleaning, told it would be an hour and there was no need to call first before picking it up (I specifically asked). I came 5 hours later thinking that was plenty of time and was told they hadn't gotten to it yet. No apologies, which was very frustrating and tainted my overall experience with the business.

I stopped here to see if they had some clips for my camera cord forMy new camera that used to be on my old one. They didn't have any to fit but the wonderful kind gentleman there kept looking through straps until he found one to fit. Really nice service. IMHO it's the best camera shop in town. I highly recommend this store.

Wow, a camera store with everything you could ever want including classes offered by professional staff to help you with the latest equipment and technology. I also love this store as it is willing to give back to the community and help those among us, veterans, who have served the greater good of our nation. A one-stop store for all your camera needs.

A photographers dream! This store has pretty much anything you need if you are a professional or amateur photographer! I ventured into the store recently to get my daughter her own camera for her photography class. I did not feel like letting her use mine, plus it's almost the size of her! (She's 10). Anyways, the salesman here asked if I needed any help and so I told him what I needed, and he got my shopping done in less than 5 minutes! I got a news camera for my daughter, which pricewise is very competitive to places like, say, walmart. Plus these guys seem to know a little more about cameras I think. I also got a camera battery charger than not only can charge my type of battery, but can charge many different batteries as well. I think that's pretty cool for only $30! I also picked up a photo album that can hold 500 photos too. Some people may think coming to a camera store may be expensive or waste of time since you can shop on Amazon or something, but there is something to be said about stores like these. You will not only get your items the same day for a good price, but you will also get knowledgeable and friendly staff to help you!

I am a long-time professional photographer. I purchased my first pro camera, camera bag, Novatron light kit, tripod, a background, and stands from them. I still have (and use) all but the initial camera as it was a film camera. But I have purchased cameras from them ever since. Besides the huge variety of quality products they sell, they are trustworthy and are an incredible source of education and guidance. Regardless if you are just starting out or a seasoned pro, this is the place to purchase your gear. Skip the online purchase. You have real people to support you when you buy from them. I have done with business with Rockbrook for years. I purchased my first camera from them many years ago. I am not a photographer. I like to take pictures of the pets and on vacation.This week has been full of awful customer service with Rockbrook, but it ends on a good note. It all started when I was working to put a photobook together. I know someone who does photography as a hobby and took some awesome pictures for me for an upcoming event. I logged into the site and put my photo book together. I had some issues, so I e-mailed Rockbrook for help. My e-mails went unanswered. I finally went to the store and asked for help. I was told how to fix my issues. The site told me that I could not have a 20 page book. I was told this was not a problem earlier in the day. So, I submitted my order left order leaving instructions and left a voice mail stating I only wanted 20 pages. I received a voicemail stating that I could not order a 20 page book. I called the store and horrible service again, I was on hold for about 10 minutes. After waiting 10 minutes, a woman name Megan picked up the phone in error. Megan was so sweet she listened to me vent and I did snap at her because I was furious. Megan saved the day and after a few calls back and forth she told me that I would get the book I wanted. I did apologize because I was wrong for snapping a her. It is important to note that Megan is an Accountant and not a customer service person. I am so thankful Megan saved the day. If it wasn't for Megan I would be writing a much different review.
