Today I crossed Rockbrook off my list of places to spend my money. A place I spent over 5K at last year, a place where not one single employee can act like they remember me, let alone remember my name or say hello or SMILE when I walk through the door, or ask how I am or how they can help me.A local business has the opportunity to build a relationship with it's customers, winning them with great service, but instead of having a great customer experience I have a BAD customer experience. The Lincoln store doesn't develop it's own film anymore, so they have someone drive it to the Omaha store, and after it's developed and scanned weird and linty, you have to wait for someone to drive it back to Lincoln and then hope the person calls you when it's ready. So many times I had to call again and again to see if my film is ready when they said it was going to be ready, only to have to wait until someone else drives it back to Lincoln.I wanted to support the last camera store in Lincoln, but I'll turn to B&H, Adorama or MPEX, for great prices and happy voices, and RPL or the FindLab for beautiful lintfree quality film developing and scans.

I have gone to Rockbrook for a long time and they are always great help, no matter what I need. I appreciate having them here in town. However, I notice it said I lived in California and I don't; I live here in Lincoln.

Mike helped me with all my camera questions the other day and showed me how to fix all the problems I was having. He was super knowledgeable and patient! So glad that I stopped in! Will definitely be back!

Rockbrook is absolutely fantastic. Truly. I have rented from them multiple times- sometimes in desperate photographer situations. They always come through. I bought my first camera from them. They're just the best. The workers know they're stuff with photography gear. So good.

I came here to develop a roll of B&W film with one 4x6 per shot AND scanned onto CD. I had to wait a few days since they send it to Omaha to get it developed. Once I got it back, I picked a few out for them to print to 8x10's, which is pretty cheap if done from CD... that alone makes it worthwhile to get them scanned onto CD ($4). I do wish the photos came out with a touch more contrast, but I can't be sure whether that's because of the developing job, the film paper, or simply the brand/type of film I was using. But ultimately the 8x10's came out looking good. I paired them up with identical black frames and hung them on my wall. They look fantastic, if I may say so myself.
