Rock Port Inn

This place is not a good place to stay at, if you can avoid it don't go there. There were blood stains on the sheets, on the bed, the beds are so old and nasty brown, the bathroom had the cieling uncovered and we can see that there were some tools, like a hammer and a screwdriver, I saw a Lil mouse as I walked to the bathroom, there were traps all over the room, the door didn't lock well. Stains on the bathroom wall and some tape keeping together a piece of wood frame.

This is a nice hotelNothing to fancy but clean and at a great price. Right off the freeway as well.

Motel looks ok from the outside but inside I wasn't impressed. Inside there was raw Sheetrock where they were doing upgrades? Or patching large holes? I don't know. The carpet "baseboards" were half off in several places. The front window had so much buildup on it that you couldn't even see out. The toilet rocked and felt and sounded like it was coming off the wall each time you sat down. And here's the topper....THERE WASN'T A MIRROR IN THE WHOLE ROOM! Wish I had noticed that before we booked the room. And about that, when we got there there was no one around, we had to call the manager to come check us in. Then when he got there his credit card machine wouldn't work. He then wanted us to give him our card so he could go charge it on a machine somewhere else. Oh, I don't think so! We ended up paying in cash and then he promptly disappeared, not to be seen until the next morning. There was only one other person in the motel so my question is this, was that the best room that he had to offer? If so, I don't want to see the others. Ok, enough ranting. On the plus side, the room wasn't terribly expensive, and the bed was super comfortable! No, I can't say that I would recommend this motel! Should have taken pictures.

Decent motel for the money I suppose. Everything was clean. The guy at the front desk was very nice and helpful. WiFi - 3.17mbps download .47mbps upload.
