Roca Tavern

Came by for a Friday afternoon drink before a wedding just up the street. This place was exactly what we needed. Drinks were cheap, strong, cold, and served quickly but without any extra pomp or circumstance. The atmosphere felt on the verge of becoming lively at a moments notice, though during our visit was primarily created by the loud, season one episode of Friends on the TV. It was the one where Ross was about to confess his love to Rachel but then her boyfriend of the week showed up. I know that sounds like most episodes of Friends but that monkey showed up for a while so I'm pretty sure it was season one. The revolving Budweiser Clydesdales decoration behind the bar was a particular highlight, and worth the visit all by itself.

Craigerator makes the place but other staff and owners are great too. Good stage area, booze is priced right and super atmosphere. Karaoke is so much fun. Love when party buses come.

Great place! The people working there are awesome, the live music is amazing,far better,and more frequent than what you will find in Lincoln.
