Kyle owns it now and was my cashier. He was so nice and friendly. This was my first time here and it was nice to see I could grab some non meat items too like celery and carrots! I did go for chuck roast which was absolutely perfect! I try not to be too preachy in my reviews but I would much rather have the quality from here and give my money to Kyle and his workers than for it to go to the big box stores. With times like these we are going through we need to support local as much as we can. See you again soon Rick's meats.

We went here looking to stock up on meats for the deep freeze, and wanted to get them from a local place rather than a big box store. There is a big selection of tons of different cuts. We were able to get a few things for the week and and new seasonings .The butcher is extremely knowledgable and friendly. Aside from our personal needs, this is definitely a place we would stop now to get burgers and BBQ/Cookout needs. It's right on the main strip in Elkhorn and lots of parking.

Excellent meats -- friendly staff gives great advice on what to buy and on cooking too! Their smoked brats are amazing! I need to try their ready-made BBQ sandwiches soon!

I'm disappointed to have to do this, but I can't bring myself to shop here any longer. I was in there a week ago, none of the employees wore a mask. I just went with it since they were technically 6 feet away. Today, I was about to walk In and noticed none of the customers I saw were wearing masks this time. I did not go in.787 people tested positive for COVID in Douglas County yesterday, the hospitals are full, and this is how they're operating.

Best meat best prices. Love the guys. Their prices and quality make what you get at Hyvee laughable We even get dog bones there at great prices compared to premium dog stores. They have a nice little grocery store to supplement which you'd think would be higher priced nope. Heck you can buy a 20oz bottle of pop for $1.20

Good meat, great employees, and has small grocery section making it a great place. Favorite things bacon, flat iron steak, flavored milks , smoked brisket sandwich special

Went in there today, place was empty, so I thought great, fast service! Nope, just two old fat guys playing grabass and some lady walking around behind the counter doing who knows what. Do yourself a favor, go into the actual Omaha and go get better service and more selection.

Have been a loyal customer for many years. Was in the store a week ago and neither Rick or any of his employees were wearing masks. This is after I read in the paper that they were cited for not following the city mandate. Shame on them!!We are no longer customers!
