The only reason why I'm giving a 3 star is because the asada torta was full of bits of fat that could not chewed... and the meat itself was over cooked, almost charred., other than that it's decent. Good flavors. I should have gone with the tacos.. we ordered an Al Pasto one and a Chorizo one just to try them and these were very good. Their tortillas seem to be homemade. The pineapple water was good as well. The decor is very simple with two long tables with chairs next to each other. It is also self seating and you must order at the counter and pay after meal. And your clothes will smell like fried tacos after you leave :)

The facade tells you a lot about the place. I had hoped the food would be better than the looks of the place.I was very disappointed. The food had a terrible chemically after taste. Like they did a poor job wiping the cleaner off the grill or grilled it in rancid oils.I had high hopes based on other reviews. The good cook must have taken the day off. 2 stars, because you have to really really screw up to get only 1.

No offense intended, but Columbus is not exactly a food Mecca. This little place hours a long way towards changing that. I had two sopes and two tacos... All with different meats. Here is the rundown:Barbacoa - braised beef head meat was generously seasoned and tender. Loved it. Buche - Pork stomach is easy eating, folks. It is nothing like beef tripe. It's a little bit like bacon without the saltiness. Try it! Lengue - Beef tongue meat costs a bit more than the other meats for a reason. It's the best! Chorizo - needs no explanation... You know it's good! There beans here are delicious and are obviously treated with a little bit of lard. Also, they don't double layer their taco tortillas because all of their tortillas are handmade and a little bit thicker. They really don't need to double them because their tortillas are not too easy to rip when you eat them. That's the traditional reason for the doubling.

Not a fancy place, but their Wednesday $1 tacos with all the trimmings are fabulous and you have your option of meat. If you eat-in they give you salsa and homemade chips which are really good, I asked for more salsa to have with my meal. The pupusas are large, fresh, and taste amazing. They also have great tortas. I plan to have the tamales next, they were sold out when we went. Overall this is my go to for Mexican tacos, tortas, and pupusas here in town.

Extremely rude owner. When calling back to say a mistake had been made with my order. The owner got extremely aggressive calling me a liar. All I intended was to let her know about the error. After she hung up on me she continued to text until I had to block her to quit her from continuing to text me. WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!
