Rental CIty

They had an appliance dollie but it was in bad shape. The belts barely turned and the wheels left marks on our carpeted steps. When I returned it the guy at the counter hardly acknowledged me. So lack of maintence I can't really give them a thumbs up. Maybe next time they will have better customer service.

Rented a tiller, reasonable rate, 3 hr minimum. The gentleman at the desk was friendly and helpful. No problems. I got the tiller home and the pull cord snapped. I can live with this, I understand that these maintenance things happen, especially one that is "under the cover". I drove it back and exchanged it for another. Since it was late in the afternoon, I suggested that I keep the tiller over night, without any change in the minimum charge because of the significant inconvenience to me.I took the tiller home, started it and began tilling. The machine runs well . . . very much like an 5 hp tiller should. However, the outer tine did not turn. One of the pins keeping it in place was absent. I called and notified the front desk of this, and that I was able to find an adequate replacement. I repaired the machine and was able to complete the job. Rental City has a DUTY to maintain the equipment they make available to their clients. I pay my money for the convenience of using their equipment for a few hours, NOT not be inconvenienced twice because of poor maintenance practices. 1. Upon returning the tiller, I should have been offered an additional discount for this sequence of trouble.2. Rental City needs to honor their contract to provide safe, reliable equipment for rent. I will avoid Rental City for any rental needs in the future if I am able, nor would I recommend it.

I cannot rave enough about the folks at Rental City. They were great to work with...patiently answering all of my incessant questions about tents, walls, weather, heat, setup, tear down, etc... etc... etc..I recently rented four high peak tents with walls and gutters, a tent heater and a plethora of chairs. An October wedding, on a Saturday, we had been experiencing rain and wind for two weeks straight and I was STRESSED, just a bit.Truly, the folks at RC were ever-patient in answering my questions. We were coordinating multiple vendors to execute a farm wedding, so I really, REALLY appreciated their willingness to bring the tents out a day early and setting them up in the cold and rain. The guys setting up the tents were equally amazing - personable, helpful and with great attitudes especially given the setup conditions.Our event was spectacular. The tents withstood some serious wind conditions so that our guests could enjoy a leisurely dinner. Oh...and the peaked tents looked AMAZING, especially with the fields as a backdrop.

My mom rented a shop-vac for her basement and the gentlemen were SO friendly and helpful in the process. They gave her a tip to get the most of her hourly use. I arrived 6 min late to drop it off and they didn't charge an extra hour and even unloaded it themselves. I would definitely go here for rental needs because they won't nickel and dime you and are SUPER helpful and kind.

I haven't experienced this level of customer service in soooo long! If I could give them TEN STARS I would! We had a Monte Carlo night and got all of our supplies from Rental City. I cannot give them a high enough praise. They were quick, efficient, friendly and they had a crew of guys that loaded the ENTIRE back of our SUV in just minutes. The return process was simple and painless. The guy working the desk even asked if everyone had fun at our party. After we were unloaded we asked about other equipment and he ran up front to get us a quote. My husband and I were beyond impressed with the selection and customer service and will definitely be back!

They were amazing!! I can't thank them enough for going above and beyond for our event today! We celebrated our Grand Opening today and the tent another company we rented from wasn't big enough. I called them this morning and they had a tent, tables, chairs, and a heater at my location and set up within 2 hours. Plus we were an hour drive from them. Their customer service was top notch! Thank you so much!

Professional, quick loaders and very helpful. They have multiple hands that will help you load and unload your vehicle. You don't have to lift a finger.

Went in and asked if they had a corded chain saw to rent. They asked me what I wanted to use it for. When I explained that I had a bush with branches about 1.5 inches across that I wanted to remove dead branches from, they recommended that I rent a reciprocating saw instead. Said it would be easier to handle for that type of job and would cost less, too. I took their advice and was pleased at how well it worked. I had never heard of that kind of saw before and would have gladly paid about three times as much to rent the chain saw. They saved me money and recommended the correct tool for the job.
