We built our home starting in April of 2021 and they threatened to cancel our contract due to us taking too long according to their timeline, although they were the hold up on getting blueprints back 2 weeks later than originally said (which wasn't a problem I'm sure they're busy- but why cancel it when it was slow on their end?) Any changes we wanted to make to the house we were told no and had to fight them to do it. We wanted can lights rather then disc lights and we were told they couldn't do that even though their model had them (they did end up allowing it eventually). When it came to paint colors- I was told the kitchen cabinets all needed to be the same color and I could not have an accent color on the island and that all of the bedrooms upstairs had to be the same color. We decided we would cancel our contract but then they agreed to do it for an additional paint charge (which we were expecting anyway). I wanted two different door types throughout the house and they absolutely would not allow that. The bedroom colors were all painted the wrong colors and the paint job throughout the house is the worst paint job I have seen done by a professional. We have paint on our ceilings and baseboards. When we asked for them to redo spots we were told "they would see what they could do" but it was never addressed.During the building process - all of our bathroom sinks were built too small and they would not change them so we had to pick out different sinks. Our garage floor has been an on going issue. The framers built the garage 2 inches too small and when the garage floor was poured it was poured to high. They had to remove some cement and repour it to be able to install the garage doors. After a few weeks this newly poured area then began to rise creating a tripping hazard in the garage. The project manager ASSURED me if I did not like the original solution they would tear it up and repour (mistake on my end to trust this). They have grinded the concrete multiple times now as it continued to rise. We were told since they ruined the integrity of the cement they would seal the grinded down area but now have gone back on that as well. Their solution was to just keep grinding the cement and put a gray caulk down the middle of the patches. We now have a huge stripe across the garage floor which is 3x bigger than what they originally told me it would be. It looks like complete garbage. In the last few days we have contacted other cement companies to come look it over and both have agreed it's extremely pour work and that the floor is likely to not last like it should. Regency has not only failed to own up to the problem but if they would have caught the errors during building the garage floor would not look like this- the project manager has even said this himself. They now will not respond to any calls or messages about this. We picked out a lot with a fairly big backyard and asked if we could add more to the sprinkler system (we expected they would allow us with an extra charge) and they wouldn't even consider. Our sprinkler system is unable to reach our entire lawn. Now it's a bigger project since they wouldn't allow this at the initial install. In our initial meeting we were told they lose people to the builder Trademark, I can see why. We definitely will not build with them again. On a positive- if the warranty item doesn't cost them any money they are quick to respond and fix it fairly quickly. I also really like the layout of the house!

Regency Homes has been quite professional throughout the new home build journey. They lived up to all our expectations and had been very transparent at every stage. To be specific, Walter Fredrickson has been absolutely phenomenal in helping us take right decisions and keeping us informed regularly. He has been a great guy to work with and quickly responds to any questions /doubts and has been my go to person for any suggestions post sales too. I would definitely recommend Regency Homes and Walter (sales agent ) to everyone who wants better quality home for a competitive price and complete customer satisfaction and transparency.

After 2 years of moving into this this house My house was build by Regency Homes builders in Gretna area in Nebraska. since I moved into my brand new house I observed that the driveway concrete level is higher then the garage floor and due to this weather elements like rain drains into the garage. And if I try to clean my garage there is no way I can push the water out as the driveway acts like a ridge and blocks the water. Its the same when cleaning dirt I can not simple push anything out of garage. When complained about it Regency came and grinded the concrete to level up but that made more inconsistencies and now the driveway slabs are not only standing above my garage floor but also has uneven grinding to compromise the strength of concrete. It also doesn't look good at all. I brought this issue during my 1st year warranty. My second major concern about this company is they do no not care of quality assurance. Why I'm saying so is because recently discovered a manmade defect during the construction process and lack of quality checks. I recently found that the hole that was drilled in the basement concrete wall to get the water line inside my house was never sealed. Due that water is leaking inside my house during this snow season. As this year we got a record high snowfall snow is seating all over and when the temperature goes higher snow starts melting and slowly water escapes thru this hole and gets into my house. I checked the dirt grading and its slopes always from my house by almost 15 degrees. I contacted Regency and told them of this and they simple turned me to various other contractors involved during construction process. I tried to contact them and they said I'll have to talk to Regency. Regency says they won't entertain this because I'm out of my 1 year warranty with them. How could I notice this defect unless I would have come across a similar situation? Also this is would not have happened if Regency would have inspected the construction process thoroughly. I would expect Regency stands for quality and fairness in resolving these issues but so far there is no luck.

Watch Out! Our sales contract was cancelled by Regency two months into the process. They will hold you to all dates on the timeline even if they are late on their items - sales agent had zero respect for our time or schedule and seems to think sending you a text msg or email is a "meeting". If they perceive you to be a problem to them they will cancel - read your contract - make sure you don't step out of line! Good Luck!

RUN!! RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN! These guys are the absolute WORST. Worst customer service. Worst business model. Worst real estate representative, Kamie Meilke. We recently built a home with Regency and they made the whole process absolutely hell! They claim to be a "custom builder." Not the case. They can barely add an outlet to a floor plan without messing it up. Their whole staff is rude and inconsiderate assholes. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.
