Dr Spanel has a lot of extremely satisfied customers. I've been pleased with the dentist and his staff. He is quite conservative--not performing costly or potentially painful procedures unless truly necessary. A minor downside to this approach is that on rare occasions, one might need to persuade him to take a second look if you're sure there's a problem that needs fixing.On the few times I've needed fillings, it's been completely painless. He even applies a topical anaesthetic so I don't feel the needle.If this will be your first visit, be sure to ask for directions. The office is easy to miss if you don't know which turns to make.

I have to add that Regency Dental now sends multiple text message appointment reminders, which really saved my ass from missing my scheduled visit last week. Speaking of that visit, Dr. Spanel found I had leaky filling which needed to be replaced. They told me to come back at my convenience, which for me turned out be a week later. It'd been a while since I had any drilling done on my choppers, but I wasn't sweating it. A little shot in the gum to numb and zip, zip, drill, drill, polish, polish and I was done in under 30 minutes. It's now a few hours later and I'm virtually pain free. Couldn't ask for anything better.

Dr. Spanel and his staff are legit. They take great care of you. I broke a tooth in the back of my mouth over the weekend and called them first thing this morning and they asked if I wanted to come in in the am or afternoon. I came in the afternoon and I thought they would examine and then we'd determine a course of action but have to schedule on a different day. The opposite Dr. Spanel said it would be a quick fix and if I had 20min. I said yes. He literally fixed my tooth in 20min and I was out the door continuing my day pain free. They were awesome! This will be where I will go and recommend for any dental need. Thank you!!!

What a delightful dental office. The first time I came I had a hard time finding the place just because I am unfamiliar with the area of town and the frontage roads but i figured it out. Its kind of funny to me as most dental offices all seem to have the same decor and vibe. The staff at the front desk is extremely friendly and give you a nice greeting. I really like their appointment reminder service because it can be easy to get distracted and want to forget about going to the dentist. The hygienist staff is delightful as is Dr Spanel. I am excited to go back in 6 more months for my next check up, hopefully I will continue to have healthy teeth and a pretty smile.

After 20 years of being cared for at Regency Dental, I was told they wouldn't treat me unless/until I filled out their new mandatory MyChart app. Just Google "MyChart data breach" and you'll understand why I didn't want to make my medical and billing information public.I found out that Dr. Spanel has sold the practice to a private equity group and he's now working there as an independent contractor. The new owners told the office staff to turn away anybody who wouldn't immediately fill out the MyChart stuff. I was still standing at the front counter discussing the situation when everybody just walked away and left me standing there.I'm glad Dr. Spanel is lining up his retirement, he's a great dentist. The new owners can go pound sand with their demands. Creighton University fills Omaha with batches of new dentists every year, and I am currently shopping for a new dentist.

The staff is very friendly and helpful.Dr. Spanel is a wonderful dentist. Never thought I would say that about a dentist but there you go. I have been going here since my husband and I moved to this area. Nothing but good things to say.

I switched to Dr. Spanel from a recommendation by a relative. He suggested a deep cleaning. It turned out that for one side of my mouth the bill was over $460. I had no idea it would be anywhere near that high. I was not told it would be that expensive. I asked for an explanation over the phone, If Dr. Spanel was told of my request, he didn't bother to call me. Dr Spanel has to be the highest priced Dentist in town.
