Red Barn Wedding Venue

Will start with positives- cute barn set up, lots of outdoor space and photo opportunities Negatives- horrible parking options and the person directing cars was not only rude but not clear on where to go. From parking area it's very difficult to get inside barn or the outdoor area. Steps currently under construction but that would've been a first to do before opening site. While sitting outside we got a horrible whiff of sewage. I think the septic needed cleaned out as the vents were right near the north side of barn. Outside bar area doesn't have much for seating unless it's a backless bar stool or sitting in an Adirondack chair near a fire pit. Honestly the chairs are rustic and cool but didn't want to sit in the blazing sun nor have clothes snagged. Could have added more seating or canopy type shade to help with sun. Inside arrangement of tables is limited and you need to be aware as support poles do inhibit views and photo opportunities. Dance floor is small again depending on # of guests etc. I'd also ask about other bookings before and after yours to ensure you are not rushed for set up or tear down. Has potential but lots more detail work and improvements in attitudes to make it a place for brides and grooms. Ask questions and get in writing!
