Ready or Knot Wedding Chic

Ready or Knot is a very down to earth, beautiful bridal shop that offers really intentional, kind, helpful service and DEALS for wedding dresses. They have incredible inventory at shockingly low prices without the dress quality looking outdated or bleak. My sister got her dress here and I am sad I didn't get mine here! She also became friends with the gal who was helping her which goes to show how friendly and likable the employees are. They definitely make you feel at home and not pushed to buy something - not salesy at all! Loved that.

Ready or Knot is a local bridal boutique in Rockbrook Village specializing in wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and wedding accessories. It's polished and upscale looking on the inside, full of natural light and decor to make it airly, whimsical and romantic. It doesn't hurt that the racks of dresses make for a very beautiful backdrop. Making an appointment here was easy, through email or phone. They were very quick to reply to my emails, with it being within a day to schedule an appointment, and a max of 2 days for a more in depth question I had. I appreciated the email "interview" Jocelyn conducted before my appointment, and they already knew my tastes and preferences before I stepped in the door. The hour long appointment with Monica was great, and she was very good at clipping the sample dresses to fit my petite frame, and had already pre-chosen 6 dresses for me to try based on the information I had given beforehand. In the end, this was the shop I ended up purchasing my dress through, and I am thrilled. I thought the process was really easy with no fuss, and they had exactly what I was looking for. They don't off same day purchase discounts like other shops I visited with, and weren't able to negotiate with pricing for my brand, which was slightly disappointing. The dresses here certainly have a certain style and vibe, and I noticed that almost all the bridal shops in Omaha have their own curation of designers which gives them all a unique feel. Style wise, I feel like Ready or Knot is very close to Rhylan Lang in style. Price point, they run $1200 and up for most gowns. Occasionally they will have sample sales and announce on their social media. I like that my dress cannot be found elsewhere in Omaha, making it a unique purchase. Overall, really happy with everything.

Making an appointment is very easy and they're willing to work with your schedule which is wonderful. My sister bought a wedding dress from this store and she found success so I decided to try it out as well. I think depending on the time of the year you go, they have you take your shoes off, but I'm not sure. I went looking in September and the people who came with me weren't instructed to. Monica was attentive and so patient with me, super consultant! I chose not only a wedding gown from this store, but bridesmaid gowns as well. Now for the not so great stuff- one bridesmaid of mine mentioned that at her fitting, the owner, Jocelyn, made kind of a rude comment about her rib cage being large? And that she was surprised my bridesmaid fit into a certain size dress... not professional at all. I told my sister about this and she said the owner probably didn't mean for it to sound mean. Then when I came in to pick up my wedding dress and try it on again, Jocelyn made a comment about my back being wide and that some designers just don't think about how wide Midwesterner are. I'm pretty insecure about my shoulders and back and it was a thought that crossed my mind the first time I had arrived at the store and tried it on. I even asked my friends and family that I brought with me to my appointment. I guess things slip out, but when you're a business owner and a professional- you can't just say whatever comes to mind. Especially when your business is all about dressing people for a huge life changing event. All in all, lots to select from and Monica is amazing! But don't be surprised if the owner says something about your body... to your face.

I went to 5 stores total to try on wedding dresses (3 in Scottsdale, where I live and 2 in Omaha where I am from) and Ready or Knot was by far my best experience. I called ahead to speak with the stylist about some dresses I liked and although they didn't have some of them, she had pulled some perfect dresses for me to try on before I even arrived. She completely understood my style and was very helpful when talking about alterations we could make to dresses to make them exactly how I wanted them. Also, both ladies took their time with me when taking measurements and didn't rush me out, like other stores did. I would highly recommend coming here. Also, I wish I remembered the stylist name that I worked with, but she was tall, thin and brunette and I thought she was wonderful.

This is the boutique I found my dream dress at! They found me exactly what I was looking for and didn't even know it! The entire staff was amazing and highly recommend checking them out if you're also looking for THE dress.

I was very disappointed with the service I received today. The woman who was supposed to be my stylist was not only short with me, but very inattentive. She would give me dresses, without letting me look around the store myself. She acted annoyed when I didn't like the dresses SHE chose for me. Not only that but when I tried on the dresses she would leave the area, she didn't stick around to hear my thought about the dress and made me recap what I had already said to my friends and family there. I left feeling very disheartened and upset with how I was treated. Dresses were okay, service was awful.

Poor customer service. I had just come from Bridal Traditions, Ready Or Knot was my 2nd appointment of the day. These two stores were night and day, starting with the customer service down to the quality of dresses I was being given. When I booked the appointment over the phone, based on the style I was describing, the lady told me anything in the store in glitz, glam, or ball gown would cost me anywhere from $2500 and up. I found a dress with all of the above at Bridal Traditions for $1799. When I got to the actual appointment, the consultant didn't let me shop around or look at dresses myself, she pulled the dresses for me, and the dresses she pulled were NOTHING like I described or wanted. They even had me email pictures of things I liked, and they couldn't have even looked at them with the types of dresses I was being given. Why ask me to send the pictures if you're not going to look at them? Waste. Of. Time! Not to mention they have you "modeling" the dresses in a large window area, where everyone on the street walking by was watching... awkward! That sums up the whole experience, awkward and uncomfortable. There was also a Halloween event going on, so there was zero parking, and it took quite a bit of time to get through the congestion of the plaza. I'm sure all the businesses were aware of the trunk-or-treat going on, it would've been nice if they would've called their clients to give them a heads up on the extra traffic, so I could've planned ahead. There were so many people walking around outside, the consultant said she was anxious about her car sitting in the front of the store (Just to give a visual of all the extra people around while I was standing awkwardly in a large window in these dresses I felt uncomfortable in). Over all very poor experience. Do not recommend. Save yourself some time and go to Bridal Traditions!

Got my wedding dress here for a reasonable price. Gorgeous and high quality dress selection, and friendly staff who help you find what you need. They also help connect you with tailors in the area. Highly recommend!

I truly cannot recommend Ready or Knot enough! I was so indecisive about what I wanted for a dress, and they were patient, professional, helpful, and knowledgeable about every dress and option I had. They were mindful of my budget, and were so helpful in helping me understand how to care for my dress, where to get alterations, etc. They were great hype women while still giving helpful feedback when asked about different dresses. I LOVE ready or knot! Thanks to them for helping me find my dream dress! Also - they were very COVID-19 conscious, made me feel safe but still special while picking out my dress.

I was 100% dissatisfied with my experience here. I had a few of my family members with me and we were all turned off by the customer service. We were not allowed to look around for dresses ourselves which was a big disappointment! She asked for my Pinterest pictures but then wouldn't let us look around at all on our own or expand outside of those styles. The employee who helped us didn't offer much help, she had a bad attitude, and she didn't seem excited to work with a bride who WAS willing to purchase, she seemed annoyed that we were there. The store itself was freezing cold and the couches we had to sit on had a terrible musty smell. They made us take our shoes off at the door, so we had to use the restrooms with no shoes, yuck! The whole experience really was terrible. The employee really shouldn't be in the wedding businesses trying to make bride's happy. I would suggest taking a look at how you plan for the appointment. Allow the brides and their family to look around and have fun at their appointment instead of making everyone feel like they couldn't move off of their spot on the couch. Please allow the appointment more time and a more relaxed experience.
