I had never been to reactor, and since it was touted as a waffle and brunch place I was in. I tend not to drink my money, but I will certainly eat it. My wife 7 month old and I arrived on a Saturday morning to find it warm, windowed, and welcoming. We ordered a hot chocolate and two waffles and sat by the window. The waffles came out in about 10 minutes and the hot chocolate in about five. My wife liked the hot chocolate as she said it was not overly sweet. The waffles were okay, they gave us honey and syrup. However there was no fruit option or eggs and bacon on the side. It reactor build itself as a coffee house I would understand. But as the title on Yelp includes the word brunch and waffles I was expecting a bit more in terms of options. Prices were good, and the wait staff was helpful. The person who took our order was snacking on a hash brown from Taco Bell. If they were actually a brunch place she probably wouldn't have had to cross the border for her own breakfast. The place is nicely decorated and people mostly by college students and 20 somethings. There are four external monitors for those who want a second screen and a few couches if you want to relax a little more. There is also outside seating.

#teamedward (a mostly sugar-free version)I shared with the barista that I was celebrating losing 30 pounds. She said "and you look so amazing either way. "

One of the few coffee shops that understands that using great (lightly roasted) beans and not overheating the water allows you to actually taste the coffee and not the burnt mess that most people mistake as strong coffee. (Most people mistake a burnt taste for strong coffee, but it's actually the opposite - heat destroys caffeine.)The people behind the bar are so nice. The space is perfect for those who want good coffee and a not so noisy place to think, read and work.In defense of their waffles... they are thin, crispy waffles. Please don't come here expecting thick, fluffy waffles. They are thin and crispy for at least two reasons: 1) they will keep form after you add delicious sauces (like caramel), and 2) they cook quickly (which means more people can be served by a limited staff). They are still delicious.

Really cool setting/seating situation. Excellent drinks and food options. Sampling a waffle and Americano for my first time in. Actually Jas of Kearney Baristas told me about this place. Am excited to be here. And all is really good and I sure hope to return next time in town.

One of my favorite things to do is to explore local coffee shops in any city that I'm in. So when Reactor popped up on my radar, I quickly added it to my list. Reactor did not disappoint. It's located in an area where you wouldn't think a coffee shop would have its storefront, but it's worth the visit. The baristas are one of the friendliest people you will ever meet. They are always so, so happy. They do this really cool and unique thing that I've never seen from any coffee shop in that each week, they release an "experiment". An experiment is an experimental drink that the baristas come up with each week with creative flavors that they get to have fun with! Experiments such as a peanut butter latte and a peach cobbler latte. They have super fun punch cards (mine have furbies, IYKYK), so be sure to pick one up if you're going to be a regular. Which I don't know why you wouldn't!

This place a hidden gem! The coffee is delicious and will be served in a quirky unique mug if you'd like. The shop is beautiful and homey with good music, and the staff are friendly and personable. Great place to study or read!

I've been here twice now & I absolutely recommend. Their coffee is so good and the perfect amount of sweet. I've had an iced hazelnut latte and have also tried one of their daily specials (only $3!) and both were very good. There isn't much seating but there's usually room if you want to stay.

super cute environment! They have a lil area on the side where you can buy local artists creations which is so cool!! I also love the seating areas they have, I always see so many people doing their thing it makes me wanna do the same! The barista that was on shift was very good about answering our questions and gave good suggestions too. She also had the bombest fuckin hair. I decided to get a cappuccino for the first time and it was delicioussss, my boyfriend wanted a drip coffee but their machine was broken so he got an americano and found a new fave! We had the waffles and omggg I had the chocolate ones and they are so so chocolately, but so good. My boyfriend said the plain ones were just as good especially with the syrup they give you 10/10 definitely going there again.

I'd heard the claims - "nicest people in the world". I was dubious, so checked it out, and who knew? Great coffee, breakfast, and conversation. Amazing little space for working or visiting with friends. My new favorite north Lincoln coffee spot.
