Ramo's Pizza and Buster's BBQ

The best Nebraska pizza! (Pepperoni and cream cheese). Great sticks too. Karaoke on Sat nights.

Nothing on their website or in the message you have to hear when they put you on hold is correct. The prices are significantly higher and when questioned, a person on the phone will tell you that it's because an owner died and no one at the restaurant can change the website or hold message, but that the prices are now higher. The owner did die several months ago, but it's in terrible taste to use this death as an excuse, after raising prices significantly across the board, to continue to advertise lower individual item prices, specials, and events that no longer actually occur. The person on the phone giving this terrible excuse also seemed to be a blatant liar. Following the excuse, when I asked to speak to a manager, the Ramos employee on the phone then said she was the manager as well as the only employee at the restaurant at 5pm. This place doesn't want any customers that value integrity.

I visited during a Nebraska Cornhuskers home game with my son. We ordered a special with a 2 topping large pizza and 4 piece garlic bread, added beverages and enjoyed it tremendously. Olivia served us and checked back after a couple of bites to make sure our food was good. She refilled our sodas on time.The parking lot is off the road. They have a deck for outdoor seating. It isn't covered. It wasn't too hot or freezing inside; it was just right. We were able to seat ourselves. While the place is known for its pepperoni and cream cheese pizza, we opted for mushrooms. I have had the Dodge's Favorite, All Meat and the Trash Can pizzas too. We got the traditional crust, and they have a thin crust option too.

Pizza was okay, wings were acceptable. Service was awful. Came to pick up a pizza and wings. Barmaid gets my order and I'm ready to pay. Then she proceeds to walk away and talk to a table for 5 minutes. Then a male employee realizes me standing there. Instead of walking up to me yells at me from behind the bar approximately 15 Ft away and says, "hey you need something?" I said, "yes to pay for my order." Nick "the male employee" walks up and confirms the order and says," it will be 10 15 more minutes longer. " I said,"okay" and asked for an alcoholic beverage. Nick denies me the beverage and was very passive with his words and remarks. I see an establishment such as Ramo's as somewhere that anyone can feel comfortable walking into. But after this experience I will not be supporting Ramo's Pizza. The pizza used to be better, lack of love, and cheese. Too much bread and sauce. Bread was under cooked. Service lacked integrity.

Saturday night, I went to Ramo's with a friend. It was not my first time here, but it has been a long time since I have been here. Covid kept me from going to a lot of places including this one. It was good to be back, and I'm glad it stayed in business. One thing I forgot is how loud other patrons can get. It's a bit louder than a typical restaurant because it's also a bar. If you can get past the occasional loudness, you will be in for a treat with the food. Saturday night, I ordered the meal option with ribs and a personal-size pizza. The toppings I ordered were sausage and hamburger. I also ordered a side of cornbread. The ribs were perfection. I don't know how they cooked them, but they were tender & tasty. The pizza was excellent. The ingredients were great, and the pizza was cooked perfectly. The cornbread.....it has been a long time since I had fresh cornbread. I regret ordering only 1 piece instead of 2. It was that good.I am deducting 1 star because of the waitress. She had a good attitude, but she forgot one of the most important duties of waiting tables. She forgot to offer refills to me and my friend while we were eating. That's one of the most important and basic duties of the job. I suspect she was distracted by the TV because she mentioned that her daughter was playing in a volleyball game that was on one of the TVs. I wanted to give Ramos 5 stars, but I can't overlook a failure to do something so basic and simple.

Food's good and service was friendly but the building needs some work. Fell into the bench seating as all the supports underneath were broken. Bathroom was rough.

Love cream cheese pizza from here! I usually do it with jalapeño and chicken.. I suggest calling in like an hour before because they get super busy and forget about dining in during a busy time because they won't have time for you!

They do offer take out but they don't take orders for a later time. You get your order when it's ready according to them. There are at least a dozen pizza places in Lincoln with better pizza than Ramos. The crust is thick and the toppings are light. They don't spread any toppings to the edge of the crust. The building they are in was a Pizza Hut many years ago. Too bad it's still not a Pizza Hut.

Great place to get a bite to eat. The cream cheese pepperoni pizza is amazing! Great service and comfortable atmosphere. Planning to go here many more times.

I'm so disappointed. Used to be my favorite pizza. Ordered tonight. Half bread. Not worth the price anymore. Sad for a lot of reasons.
