Worst experienced nail trimmers, cannot ethically perform safe nail trimming without causing asphyxiation while they have leash holds and don't use them they'd rather perform on the linoleum floor on top of them, looked like licensed from a cracker Jack box with no hygiene regimen indoors for cleaning, and rude. Untrained dogs had more class.

My dog Ted has had the same groomer for years. We recently relocated, I did a quick search, found Raise the Woof, and made an appointment. My dog is half Shih Tzu and Yorkshire terrier, he's had a lot of bad haircuts so I was nervous try a new groomer after we finally had found somebody that had been working out great in Phoenix. His hair was uneven and messed up from me cutting out multiple multiple cockleburs. I picked him up a couple hours ago and couldn't be happier he looks great and we will definitely be back!

I take my dog to Raise the Woof for nail trims. They do such a great job of trimming his nails as short as possible without cutting the quick. I appreciate the warm welcome every time we walk in! Service is fast and friendly. I would highly recommend them! The picture is from his most recent nail trim a couple of days ago.

I love this place so much that I drive close to 30 minutes each way to bring my dogs. They always cut their nails short and they're never sharp after cutting. They squeeze us in for a trim whenever we come by. My boy is less than enthused to get his nails trimmed and he never has an issue here. They talk to him and do it so quickly that he doesn't even have time to be mad. They only take cash so make sure you have some!

Update: we have not been here in several months. The last time we picked our dog up, she was "squeezed in" between several other appointments. The technicians were very obviously overwhelmed by how many clients they took on that day. I want to mention that I was fine waiting a few weeks for my dogs appointment, and the person who answered the phone said they could get her in the following Saturday since it shouldn't take long. When my husband picked her up the lady that brought her up was obviously very irritated and told my husband my dog "tried to bite her". After seeing a blood spot on the floor after bringing my dog up, she roughly grabbed at my dogs feet to see if they had made her bleed. My husband said, "well, were you grabbing at her that roughly when she "tried to bite?""the blood was not from my dog, but they had obviously done a rushed job on clipping her toenails. I was very disappointed as her first appointment was very promising. I think they need to work on their scheduling. I am too nervous to take her back here again. Previous: My brother took his dog here and loved it. We recently took our pit/boxer mix in for a bath, nail trim, anal sac expression and ear cleaning and we got out of there for 40.00. The price isn't the only thing great--- when we brought our Missy in they were SO great to her. They treated her like their own! I was so happy and felt completely comfortable leaving her there. When we went to pick her up a couple hours later, she looked great and I could tell she felt great! She didn't want to leave, so I think that says something because she runs from me if I go near her nails or ears! We will definitely be back.

I have nothing but great things to say about this place. I first started bringing my little Carmen in after she had surgery done on her back legs and the poor girl looked awful because they had to shave her back legs, hips and back completely and these gals did a fabulous job on her to make her look better.. I won't go anywhere else after seeing the compassion and care that they gave my little girl. I now have a little rescue that is high spirited and they show the same respect and care to her.

Took my sweet shelter girl here after we got fired from another place. The other place tried to convince me that my girl is out of control and anxious, etc, but Raise the Woof said she was a perfect doggie during her appt. Just goes to show that dogs really do know when humans are jerks (and when they're not). Even got a surprise green tail to match mama's green hair. Really love this place. Will be back

We have gone to raise the woof for a few years. Generally it has been ok. However when I brought my 15 year old westie in this time, I asked that his cut be kept longer since it's still cold. He came back completely shaved with a bleeding cut on his head. The exact opposite of what I asked for. I think the quality of groomers has gone down extremely. they did not listen to me at all and I should have spoken up with I picked him up but was honestly in shock. We will not be going back. Sadly.

After going to Raise the Wolf our standard poodle became more difficult to clip at home. He came home several times with clipper burn. We found another groomer.
