This is a fun place to go with a group to make some pretty glass pieces you can use around your house, office, or give as a gift. They have classes if you want to join or make an appointment to go with your own group. We went as a work outing that lasted about 1-1/2 hours. We brought in our own snacks & drinks to make it an afternoon delight! We started off looking at options of glass objects we could make. They have plenty to chose from in a range of prices you can see on-line. It was nice to sit around a big table, talk & do some crafty work. I would definitely go back & make another piece of glass artwork! Fun experience with knowledgeable employees.

These folks are awesome! We broke a glass door in our hall table and I thought it was ruined. The very helpful and skilled craftspeople here were able to replace the glass and even reproduced the frosted design in the center panel. The price was very reasonable for such skilled work. I'd highly recommend them!

Recently moved to an Apartment in S.W. Omaha.. During the move 3 of our Large display-cases were damaged.. We could repair two but the third needed a HIGHLY SKILLED Pro to replace Glass of one side ( completely broken out) . He used Old glass and design although in pieces,, to create a Beautiful piece of Art to match door on opposite side .... MORE than certain others have struggled to find CABINET-GLASS ( worked-glass ) repaired here in Omaha. SO happy we found the ONLY Business in Omaha that could do so...THANKS

The staff are very helpful. Jo taught me both the lead method and the foil method of stained glass construction. She is an excellent teacher and mentor. Jesse and Sarah are so helpful and patient in assisting me in getting glass or supplies for a project. Their prices are comparable with online purchases and it's wonderful to pick out glass in the studio.

Went here while visiting a friend of mine. Seemed cool at first, but very quickly the paper thin veneer of anything resembling instruction or customer service disappeared. The instructor was more interested in selling or "RENTING" us more materials than we needed than she was in actually teaching any skills or making her class fun. When we asked questions we were made to feel stupid and then asked to buy more classes. Everything about that class felt intentionally and maliciously designed to wring every dollar and cent out of us that it could. Should I ever find myself in Omaha again I'll not be going here again even if they paid me.

I would highly not recommend either the copper foil or lead stained glass courses from them. They say the class is $125 on the website, however they will pressure you into spending an extra $75 to "rent materials". This would be fine if the $125 or the extra $75 actually covered any of the materials you would likely need for the course. I spent the extra $75 dollars and still spent an extra $142 on materials (this doesn't include the glass btw) for "consumable materials", like the pen we used in class to mark the glass. You might think that that still might be worth it, since the class will show you how to do everything and you can get everything done in class. This is not the case. The instructor is a horrible teacher. Each class she will give about 5 minutes of useful instruction, spend 30 minutes making everyone listen to her talk about whatever is on her mind (during which we aren't allowed to work), and then ignore the students for the last hour and a half of class. During that time she either refuses to answer any questions or will intentionally or unintentionally give you blatantly wrong or bad advice. One example of this is that the instructor told us about a tool that is meant to hold small pieces of glass while you are grinding them. When I asked to use it, she gave me a glass cutter to hold my piece, which caused 3 of my pieces to have deep gauges in them and one of my pieces to split in half. Suffice to say, I had to re-cut all those pieces, which meant I needed to buy more glass. So you really only get a bit more than an hour and a half each week to do anything in class, which is enough time to do about 10% of what you need to finish your project. That means that the other 90% of the time you need for your project is done at home. This includes all of your glass cutting. Hope you enjoy shards of glass all over your kitchen and that you don't have small children at home. However, that still doesn't include the cost of the glass itself. Now going into this class I was expecting to have to buy all my glass and that it would be expensive, as I have taken a stained glass course before from a different store. But as this class is directly targeted at people that have never done stained glass before, I think the cost should be stated here. I took the class with my wife, and for our two projects, we spent $304 on glass alone. So per person add another $150 to the cost. That brings the total monetary cost for this class to $500 per person.Lastly, and probably worst of all, is that the time to finish one of the stained glass projects is much longer than the 5 classes they provide, even when spending huge amounts of time doing work at home. Unfortunately, if the 5th class ends and you don't have a finished stained glass window, they will give you three options. First, they will offer to finish the project for you. For a price. This will probably cost you close to $400 based on the price of their other commissions. Second, you can buy the remaining materials you need to finish from them. Which will likely include; a $100 grinder, $110 soldering iron, $30 solder, $20 flux, $15 frame, $30 patina agent, and $20 polish. Lastly, and most sad of the options they will give you, is to just shrug and tell you that you have spent $500 for this class and have nothing to show for it. This outcome is not even that unlikely. In the class I took there were 7 students and only 2 finished by the end of the last class. And just barely too. Of the remaining 5 students, 4 chose to buy the remaining materials and 1 chose the shrug. In conclusion, while Rainbow Artistic Glass advertises their classes as $125 it will actually costs you; your Wednesday night and your entire weekend for 5 weeks, many frantic hours googling to figure out what advice was true and what wasn't, a glass covered house, and anywhere between $500-$900. Add all that with the terrible instruction and you have an experience that I could honestly never recommend to anyone.
