Quasar Drive In is a wonderful little addition to the area, when all of our previous drive-ins had gone the way of the Dodo. We first experienced Quasar during the COVID pandemic, which was so nice to be able to go see a movie without leaving your car or having to be around people in close proximity during that time. It's a very spacious plot with a single screen, so definitely getting there early can help get a good spot to stake out for the movie. Arriving early also gives you the chance to see the beautiful sunset behind the screen. We saw a double feature of Grease/American Graffiti, which were super fun to see at a drive-in, as it fits with the theme of the movies. A lot of people brought their classic souped up cars, which I think they do a lot of the times, not just for Grease showings.Quasar's shows are a LOT of retrospective films (like Grease, obviously), but they also do show a handful of current films in between those, like Barbie, Antman Quanumania (when those came out) and the Taylor Swift Eras Tour, which would be so fun to see at a drive-in with a big crowd of Swifties. My only little bugaboos were that the concessions are a little hard to find and the lines for concessions are super long. The entrance is also a little hard to find if you're coming from Omaha to Valley. If you love classic movies, the nostalgia of going to the drive-in, or just want to have a night out in the nice outdoors in the sunset, definitely give Quasar a try.

Got to experience a classic movie at a drive in! Quasar does not miss a detail when it comes to sending you back in time to watch a movie at a drive in. Their refreshments stand is top notch with its self serve and HUGE variety of snack items! There's a little playground for kids and games like corn hole, and washers to play while you wait for the sun to go down and the movie to start. Definitely recommend!

I've loved this Drive-In every time I've been. It's a little bit of a drive from Omaha but it's totally worth it. On the drive to Quasar you'll get to experience the beautiful Midwest sunsets and build your anticipation for the whole experience. I always spend the $10 to buy a food pass so that I can bring in my own outside snacks and sodas. The concessions are a bit expensive but that's common when it comes to movie theaters. Plus, you get a steal to only pay $10 for two movies in a top notch experience!

Great venue that brought back memories from drive ins of the 70s. The snack bar was nicely stocked and had a friendly staff. They have done a lot to build a great place from scratch. Only gave 4 stars due to having visible street lights underneath the screen (we parked in the second row center).

The last local drive-in theater. Nostalgia in all it's glory. Worth the visit if you have fond memories of these. They have a single screen, and vary the showings. Usually family-oriented movies, come Fall it's horror show time. We like the horror shows, and have seen a couple of movies there this Fall. It's spacious, but arriving early allows you to set up for the show, get tasties, and use the facilities. The food was pretty good. If you want pizza, you better order it when you arrive. It goes fast. Want to bring your own food? It's a $20 charge. They do patrol the lot during the show. It's no real distraction. Just warning you to be on your best behavior.Sound is available through your car stereo, or a boom box, etc. I suggest the boom box, especially for marathons and double features. Car batteries can suffer, especially in small cars. They're rather helpful about jump-starting you.

We had a great time at Quasar. The food was great traditional drive in fair and the set was amazing. The staff was all very helpful and welcoming (both online and in person). We're looking forward to our next adventure.

We loved it, made us feel nostalgic. We went to the Friday the 13th 1 - 7 marathon. We went home after part 2 (we're old), but still had a blast. There's something for everyone. During the summer, it's more family-oriented movies, but when Fall comes around (aka - spooky season), is when it gets good for adults. The food was good, but I was bummed they ran out of pizza. It's a bit on the pricey side, but we totally understand, and you should support smaller businesses. We'll definitely return

We went our first time last year and the experience was amazing. We went last night to watch Top Gun and half the movie was unwatchable because the audio was messed up. The audio was all blown out and at hard to understand especially during high volume points in the movie. I said something during the coming soon credits but no manager was to be found and the staff seemed confused and lost. I finally talked to someone who was "going to radio Jeff". No change in the audio. Audio was awful on everyone's radio including the one outside the snack bar so I know it wasn't my equipment.

Absolutely incredible experience, very reasonable pricing for gate pass of $20 and concessions were very cheap comparatively to regular movie theaters! It was an awesome experience with great picture and you just tune into a fm radio station for sound. I wish there were more like it!
